Maureen D. says, "Osiel has been doing my company's yoga videos and photos for about 4 years now. Every graduate has to teach a 1 hour class for their final exam. Osiel comes early, sets up before anyone else arrives and makes magic happen. He has recorded individual teachers and teachers in a group setting. He is so discreet that the students taking the class barely know he is there. The quality of the videos are top notch. Not only does he take care and time making sure that they look good, he's a perfectionist and always makes sure to catch back up footage and sound in case anything happens to the main cameras and audio equipment. (Which never has.) One of the best things about Osiel is that he can make your vision come to life. We have collaborated on several styles of yoga teacher videos and photos and when I explain to him how I want it to look, he ALWAYS exceeds my expectations. He really does listen to your vision and puts his creative expertise into the project to make it better than you could imagine. Osiel never takes shortcuts, and his work and work ethics are always of the highest quality. He is responsive and communicates well when the project is in post production. If you had any idea how much time and effort he puts into his craft, you would be flabbergasted. He is always my number one person to go to for video and photo projects. One thing I really love about having Osiel do our videos and photos is the way he makes the person he is shooting feel comfortable, especially women. Our most recent project was shot at Mike's Bistro in Manhattan, New York: https://youtu.be/mPgnK1HxznA This was a one-day shoot (outside the restaurant's business hours) that involved Jordan and one assistant. We had three interview subjects. Jordan and I also dined at the restaurant the night before, at which time he used minimal gear to take unobtrusive b-roll footage of the restaurant in motion. Jordan did 100% of the post-production work on this video--with some input from me on which clips to include--and the time frame from shoot day to final video delivery was approximately 4.5 weeks. What I appreciate most about Jordan/StoriesUp is that he is a true partner in planning and executing on the story we want to tell. Jordan provides consultation ahead of the shoot, including resource planning, scheduling, interviewing tips and more. On site, he's efficient yet he has an eye for detail that allows him to come up with multiple shooting scenarios on the spot (I like that because it gives us additional options in post production). In that project, I was especially impressed by Jordan's innovative use of a drone to capture aerial footage of the store we were featuring. Travis did an amazing job directing our music video! He was readily available during the pre-production phase to iron out all the details, and had even scouted the shoot-location with me. During the shoot, he was very clear about the shots/angles he needed to fit our narrative. At the end, it only took 2 edits to get the final deliverable right, as he understood our vision.
