I was really nervous about taking dance lessons, I almost cancelled many times, but I am so very glad that I didn't. After meeting Dariusz and spending the first 5 minutes of the lesson I knew I made the right choice in not only sticking to the appointment, but in my teacher. Dariusz not only pays attention to form (mechanics) but to his student's frame of mind and works tirelessly and patiently to eliminate negative thoughts and replace them with only the positive. He is more than a dance teacher, he really cares about his students. This after just one lesson, I can't wait for more. I am going to gain much more than the ability to dance with more confidence than I've ever had, he is going to impact me in the most positive way one person can affect another. Dariusz is a really wise choice. Try it and find out for yourself you will NOT be disappointed.

My boyfriend and I had been wanting to take salsa lessons for a long time when we found Arati on Thumbtack. She made it really easy for us to finally see this goal of ours through! She was very flexible, and setting up a schedule for private lessons was easy. She's an awesome teacher - friendly, knowledgable and fun. She also designed the lessons to fit our interests in the dance, and after four private lessons, we had improved dramatically. I hope to take another class with her one day soon!

I recently decided to take dance lessons for the first time. I was a bit nervous, as I'm a terrible dancer, however,  I wanted to at least try it once. My first lesson with Tonisha turned out to be so much fun, and I felt very comfortable! Tonisha has an amazing talent and is knowledgeable about dance, assesses your level quicky, and begins to teach you how to move so that you see improvement with your first lesson! The first night, she choreographed a dance routine that I was able to learn that night!  She has given me inspiration and confidence that I can actually do this! I would recommend  Tonisha to anyone who is trying for the first time or who is experienced, but wants to take it to the next level! ~ D

My Dance lessons with Jes were some of the best I've ever had. She got me off my feet and showed me what West Coast Swing was all about. She was always, always professional, on time, and for a great price too. I now think of her as a good friend and I'm always excited when she comes to Texas.

Both as a team and individually, Shimkiri and Werner really inspire me to become a better dancer, and I highly recommend their services for anyone looking to grow as a dancer or to start dancing! I began taking private Latin dance lessons with Shimkiri about two years ago. I was so impressed by her passion for dancing and her enthusiasm in sharing her talent with her students! She has a great way of staying patient as I learn new steps while still pushing and challenging me enough so that I would improve as a dancer. Later on as we began training for a competition and a showcase, her husband Werner began coaching me, too. Like Shimkiri, he was so eager to share his passion with me, and his instructions were so clear even with the more difficult steps. They are a wonderful couple, and I really encourage anyone looking for dance lessons to see that for themselves!

I am brand new to Salsa and Paulina approached our lesson with patience. She is a phenomenal teacher and I feel like I've learned so much after only one lesson already. I look forward to continuing my lessons with Paulina and learning Salsa!

We found Chester and Linda when we were trying to polish up our dancing skills for our wedding. We had no idea how much fun we would have taking lessons with these two wonderful instructors. They really showed my wife and I how satisfying it can be to learn something new together. I would recommend them to anyone looking to have fun and become a better dancer in the process

Kelsey Rogers is not only a fun instructor who kicks your bootie, she takes time to ensure that you are using proper technique so you don't get injured. I would take any class from her and I especially loved her Zumba. She rocks my world!

Even if you cannot dance at all, and you want to learn to tango, this is the place to go. They offer different levels, from beginners to advanced and are always so eager to help you advance. All the instructors are professional, but they make it fun. I always look forward to going, to learning, and to be greeted with such warmth. Carolina, Diego and Juan go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and part of the tango family. Although it is taking lessons, you go hom feeling that you've had a great night out!

About

Hi! I am more than willing to work with all ages and supply knowledge of various types of dances. Dancing is more than a hobby; it is art and takes a great deal of athleticism. However, dancing is fun, so everyone should enjoy dancing even if it is recreational. My pricing is reasonable, and I am willing to meet all your expectations. My bio is below. Angelica Lopez is a 17-year-old dancer from Queens, N.Y. She is a Hispanic of Colombian decent who started dancing since the age of three. At the age of seven, she started dancing at Broadway Dance Center’s children’s program and became the youngest to be accepted to their dance company (Arts in Motion). She has performed with the company in many popular venues, including The Macy’s Day Parade and Good Morning America. As a flamenco dancer, she has participated as a featured dancer in the Hispanic Day Parade in NYC. Angelica has been the recipient of many dance scholarships through The Pulse On Tour Dance Convention, including Protege, 2009-2013. She has also been awarded a fully paid scholarship by StageDoor Productions for their Broadway Dances workshop where a select few get to learn music and choreography from current Broadway actors. She has appeared on BET's 106 and park on several occasions including once as a featured performer for Willow Smith. She was hired by Microsoft to take part in a massive launch for the XBox Kinect game in Times Square dancing with Ne-yo. In 2011, Angelica played dancing Dora in the animated movie for Nickelodeon, called Dora and the Explorer girls, starring Shakira and choreographed by Luis Salgado. She danced in the half-time show at the Miami Dolphins game with Enrique Iglesias. She also took part in Beyonce’s/Mrs. Obama’s campaign called “Let’s Move.” She was also chosen to take part in the instructional portion of the video. Angelica also took part in the commercial for Google Chrome featuring Lady Gaga. She appeared in an episode of Are We There Yet? TV series and recently took part of a PSA campaign calling for world peace. She is part of "Ashle Dawson's Latin Fusion Dance Company". Most recently, Angelica was hired by Hasbro Toy Company for a commercial of one of their most popular toys, "Britney Spears' Twister Dance Rave."
