I am absolutely amazed by the progress that I have made over the past 4 months thanks to Harrison. By focusing on music theory, technique, and foundational exercises, I no longer feel bound by sheet music and I feel that I actually understand the music I am playing. I also greatly appreciate Harrison's commitment to building camaraderie amongst his students. This has really helped me maintain motivation to practice! Dominick has a very calm and pleasant demeanor to which the girls really respond. They feel no pressure from him, but they are really learning a lot! We also like that he mixes popular songs the children know with exercises and theory. The girls actually understand what they are playing and why. Our oldest child participated in NYSSMA under Dominick's direction and did very well. We give Dominick our highest recommendation possible! We love him!"See more

He makes learning jazz piano and music theory really easeful, tailors his lessons to what you’re interested in (instead of a rote set of exercises) and managed to always find me exactly what I was interested in doing even if it was esoteric, and was really encouraging and positive. My goal was to get a thorough grounding in music theory and learn how to arrange piano for my own songs, and I was amazed how easily it came with his instruction after years of wandering through pop piano on my own. I’ve referred several musician friends his way. Could not recommend more."See more
