I was extremely impressed with Natalyas sensitive yet demanding style of teaching. Having never taken Yoga classes before, I was unsure what to expect or how to judge her aptitude as an instructor. I decided to let time and my body determine for me. Classes started out very slowly, and although they became gradually more challenging, Natalyia remained sensitive to my bodys limitations till the end. Now, having taken ten classes with her, I feel that I can join a group session anywhere knowing that I have acquired the necessary tools to confidently follow my teachers instructions. I recommend Natalyia whole-heartedly and will dearly miss her as well as her classes.
I have been taking yoga classes at Yoga Casita for more than a year now. Under Kathy's dedicated instruction, I am inspired to do my personal best. I have become physically, mentally and spiritually stronger than I have ever been. It is the best 90 mins of the day! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to strengthen their mind and body. You're never too old to learn something new!!
I had the pleasure of taking a private yoga lesson with Jennifer. She's an amazing teacher. I was very impressed by her experience and knowledge about yoga. She made me feel very comfortable. At the end of the session I felt very relaxed. She taught me many poses to help with my back pain. I will be taking more sessions with her.
I have done private yoga sessions with Erica Straub, and love them. I've always been active and an athlete (and recently done a lot of dance). I find it hard to find teachers that impress me for any activity -- not intentional, but I am a tough critic. That said, Erica is amazing. My yoga sessions with her were some of my favorites ever. I loved her focus on the hips (even more so than other yoga classes), the athleticism required throughout, and her approach. (Not to mention, good music selection too!). She started with poses that weren't traditional lead-ins for a yoga session, and it helped open my body up literally and figuratively. Each time I did a session with her, I felt 100% better than when I started and had lasting benefits on my flexible, strength and state of mind. I highly recommend her!
Stephanie was a great yoga instructor! So calming and exactly what I needed in a prenatal yoga instructor. After our sessions I felt like any stress or tension my body was holding onto had melted away in the past hour. Not only great at being an instructor but just a really nice person in general -- really enjoyed working with her!
Beautiful serene studio and expert yoga instruction. One on one is only way to go and Kelly knows how to develop an individual pace and progression based on fitness level. My strength and flexibility increased dramatically.
Maria-Stefania is one of the best Yoga instructors I have ever encountered in my years practicing. I dont usually write reviews for people, but she honestly deserves it. She knows how to correct your alignment when youre doing a pose incorrectly, always has a smile on her face and I learned so much in the classes she has taught. Meredith was professional, fun, and listened to exactly what my needs were for our class. I booked her for my sister's bachelorette party. It was a mix of beginners and intermediates and Meredith's class was great for all levels. She had a great sense of humor and she tailored the music to our specifications. It was amazing and I would highly recommend her to anyone that is looking for a private yoga class.
If one person has been put on this earth to use their skills and knowledge of yoga to better the lives of others, it is Danny. Compassionate, patient, and insightful, Danny has not only helped me with a number of specific injuries and discomforts, but also introduced me to how yoga technique and practice can fit into and improve any lifestyle -- even for busy, results-oriented (Type A) people like myself who previously believed cardio was the be-all, end-all of health and fitness. Along with seeking straightforward yoga instruction, I've also come to Danny with lower back pain, a mysterious sprain/spasming at the top of my leg from cycling (quickly diagnosed as a pulled sartorius muscle, for which Danny knew a number of pain-relieving stretches and poses), and general tightness in my neck and shoulders. When I meet with Danny, I know that I'm going to be listened to, thoughtfully instructed, and generally well cared-for. I've also taken one of his group yoga classes, in which he is just as attentive and present. As a teacher, Danny manages to instruct, calm, and heal simultaneously. I can't recommend him highly enough for anyone looking for an introduction to or a deepening of yogic practice.
I am a fellow yoga teacher of Casey's and I am always blown away by her classes! So knowledgeable in the yoga while also being very encouraging and compassionate. She has a true love for her students and it shows when she teaches. She creates an affinity with her students where you can't help but to love her! Anytime I get the chance, I'm in her class!! Truly, one of my favorite yoga teachers!

As a beginner student I am very intimidated in a group class, so i decided to do some private yoga lessons with Alison so I could keep up in a group setting. Alison is wonderful. She works with my limitations but isnt shy in pushing me to do more. She truly loves what she does and wants to help you be better.
Since I started practicing yoga in November 2014, I have been attending Michelle Ingkavet Cavanagh's classes regularly. Michelle is an outstanding yoga instructor in every sense of the word. She is a gifted yoga instructor and her classes are always challenging which is exactly what I want in my practice. Michelle always pays great attention to detail and takes great care in offering assistance to students when they need it. I have taken classes with many good yoga instructors but Michelle has a very unique ability to flow seamlessly through vinyasa yoga poses in her classes as if they are second nature to her. Michelle's students have great confidence in her abilities and trust her implicitly. She has a great sense of humor and her manner is such that she makes students feel at ease while in class. She is always quick to assure us that we are capable of achieving great things inside the studio as well as outside if we maintain the right mindset. There is a reason why attendance for Michelle's classes is always excellent. She has helped me tremendously with my practice and I have achieved new heights that I never thought were possible. Michelle is a great yoga instructor but most of all she is a wonderful woman and a great inspiration to everyone! John B.
Molly has been such a great teacher! I am brand new to yoga and she is very very patient with me! She not only has taught me all the positions, she makes sure I am doing them the right way! I highly recommend Molly.
I began doing yoga for the first time under Emily's guidance and she is a truly unique instructor. I have an incurable case of ulcerative colitis and currently a torn ACL/MCL and Emily was able to put together a plan of progression designed around my specific situation. On days when I was feeling especially sick, she had me relax in poses that often improved my symptoms. She's incredibly knowledgable about her practice, but beyond that, she makes one feel comfortable and at ease while pushing themselves--even in tough situations. This comes from her strong empathy which I think is such an important factor in picking someone to be your teacher. Every single session I've had with Emily has been incredible. Couldn't recommend her more.
Ian is an amazing yoga and meditation instructor! He has trained with incredible teachers and is able to translate the practices into tangible and life-changing instructions. I have personally benefitted enormously from his teachings. I would highly recommend Ian to both people who are interested in beginning a yoga or meditation practice as well as to intermediate and advanced practitioners looking to deepen their experience. Highly recommended!
