I offer beginner piano lessons and voice lessons for al levels, both online and in person within the Chicago area. I work with students of all ages and experience levels, with some of my youngest musicians starting at age three. My name is Daniela Pepe and I'm a Mezzo Soprano based in the Chicago area. As an award-winning singer with both regional and national first place titles, I understand how to turn technical work into onstage confidence. Having been in twelve staged productions since 2021, performing roles like Carmen in Bizet's Carmen and The Witch in Hansel and Gretel, I want to give my students the skills to bring their songs and pieces to life. In my studio, I will meet you where you're at, whether that means learning finger numbers for piano or starting your first operatic aria. We will work together to give you the technical skills to perform, as well as the musical skills to learn the music you want to learn. I prioritize musicianship skills like ear training, sight reading, and music theory for my young students and encourage this for my adult students who are interested in strengthening this skill as well. As a student of mine you will come to know that mistakes are not only allowed but encouraged, as we work together to bring you closer to your musical goals. I know that making music and singing in particular can be quite vulnerable, and I want to celebrate your bravery in every lesson by shaping your time to meet your exact needs. Feel free to reach out to me here on thumbtack- I'd love to hear about your unique musical goals and see if we're a good fit!See more
