I hired Odin pest management service based on the great reviews on your Thumbtack site & I was able to have a long reassuring conversation with the owner before I started my project. I mentioned that I own a house & had bedbugs due to what I felt was my next door neighbors. I asked him to check down on my moms floor for bedbugs & he stated he would. After feeling so ease I requested a bed bug treatment from him & he transferred me to his assistant who followed up with billing & scheduling. I also requested a roach treatment from his assistant. They came in on the date & he did a treatment and sent me a report which I was grateful for but I also realized that the roach treatment was not done. He also checked my mom's floor & stated that he didn't see anything in my sisters room but if she experienced any biting he would spray in her room on his follow up visit. About two weeks following this my sister starting experiencing bites so I called & left a message with his assistant to request to speak with him since he was the one that previously spoke to my sister and the assistant stated I would have to pay the base price again which he didn't mention in our prior conversation. Two weeks went by & "no call". So I called back and spoke to his assistant again explaining what he said to my sister & that I wanted to get pricing on preventative spraying for the other rooms & my sisters room. I explained that I spoke to him about possibly doing the other bedrooms in our first conversation & also that I had no couches on my floor but I my mom did on hers; because I knew that the spraying of couches was included in the base price of $395. I didn't get a call back from him but from his assistant on the day of my follow appointment on 10/19/17 called stating that I would have to pay the $395 base price for each floor plus the $150 per room. I declined to do the other rooms because there was no kind of discount so I stated to her that they could just do my floor today as scheduled from 10am - 12pm. She then stated that the technician would be running late. So I said ok. At 1pm I called back & asked the technician's "ETA". She stated to me that my appointment was changed to 3pm - 5pm & also that she sent a email. I stated that I wasn't aware of this & neither did I approve this time change because I set up my spraying in the morning prior to my kids & niece & nephew getting home because of the chemical side affects. "No one can be in the house for 4 hours after spraying". I further stated that I intended to go to work late today in order to be here for the appointment but had to "call out of work" because the technician was late. But I still said ok, I will wait until 3pm to 5pm for the appointment. At 4:41 pm the assistant called to say that it's late & the technician would like to reschedule to Saturday. She stated that they were short staffed & I stated that this was not my problem; I said "NO, I have lost a days pay & have waited at home all day for this appointment. I have rescheduled my kids & family to be out of the house today to get this done. I stated that this is already a stressful situation & I have paid my money in full more than a month ago. I shouldn't have to be stressed even more by the company that I have paid to help relieve that stress. I paid for a service & I should be able to receive that service on time. I would have to figure out someplace else for my 2 year old, 13 year old, 4 year old niece, 5 year old nephew & other family to go on Saturday which is unfair to myself & them when I already made accommodations for that today." Plus anyone who is a parent knows it's harder with kids on the weekends because at least during the weekdays they are in school. She stated she would relay this information to the owner & its 6:07pm & still there is no technician & no call from the owner. This is so unprofessional; these treatments are way too much money to have to endure this type of treatment from a business. The embarrassment of having to have someone come to your house & see all your private stuff when dealing with bedbugs is already so stressful. The service that I entrusted to help me should be reliable, competent, professional, & trustworthy. I am so angry. I wish I had hired the other company.
Richard arrived exactly at the time arranged. He was a great guy and put my mind at ease immediately. He inspected and sprayed every inch of my apartment and told me what to expect and assured me that this problem will be over very soon. I can't wait for the follow visit cause it was like having a friend or relative come and visit. I would recommend everyone to use this company even if you don't have a bed bug problem like I did because they can keep all pest control issues in check before they become a problem.
Id like to thank jerry and his crew for being very kind , informative , and efficient have not seen one bed bug since the treatment and I would personally recommend these guys to everyone that has a problem that would need a terminator ! If I ever had a problem again in another home I'm calling these guys first

It went great he was in and out real fast and the work was done! My kids couldn't sleep in there bed for weeks they started sleeping in the living room and after he came and did his thing I haven't seen a single bed bug again or bits on the kids what a relieved! Thanks so much.
I tried a couple basic home remedies to treat a bed bug infestation I had under my mattress. I thought I zapped em all, but I called in J and Son just to make sure. Jaime was very friendly, asked about my situation and was at my apt that evening (10 min early). He did a thorough sweep of all the rooms (uncovering more bugs in a place I hadn't seen) and was very helpful in telling me what I needed to do with my clothes, dog, and dresser drawers later that day. These guys are great!
I used them for a bed bug problem I had. The service was great they answered any questions or concerns I had. They made few visits until the job was done with no extra charge. I had the work completed in August and it is now December I have not seen one bug. I would recommend there service to anyone. Very professional and through.

what a delight talking to gus he expand everything that needs to be done and we are shedulet for tomorrow. he was not rushing to get my business as you can guess i wanted it done today but he explained that I have to prep my apartment so they can treat. cant wait to be bug free and i will do another review after service but just from talking i faith that he will get rid of my bedbugs. and he is the third exterminator i have in the past 2 months, hopefully he will be the last

We found a strange bug in our apartment and were terrified it was a bed bug. I called pros in Control right away and I send them a photo . John called me back within 5 minutes and confirmed it was a shiny beetle (thank goodness) and was harmless. Highly recommend!

Alex did a great job exterminating our roach problem we had in the kitchen and bathroom. He was punctual and professional. We contacted him again because of possible bed bugs and are glad to have his help.
I needed to deal with an infestation if bed bugs. Michael was very good at explaining what needed to be done. On both days of treatment, he was early, efficient and always explained what he was doing. As I had the second treatment only yesterday, it is too early to tell if I wi need more. However, I already can see and feel a vast difference.
I am so thankful I called Andrew at Jersey Boys Pest control! I had an issue with bedbugs, for the first time in my life, and had no idea how to get rid of them. Thankfully, the first call I made was to Andrew and he thoroughly explained his process of getting rid of the bugs, to me. He also included a few dates that he could come out to my house and inspect. Andrew was very kind and informative, while also understanding my anxiety and fear of the situation; therefore he took extra time to explain everything he would do, which ultimately calmed me down. He came out the next day, did a treatment, came back a few weeks later to do 1 follow up, and I have been bedbug free ever since.
