Since founding my flute studio in 2012, I have been dedicated to teaching a playful curriculum that allows students to confidently explore the flute. It is amazing to guide students towards an ever increasing sense of musical fluency.
As a professional flutist and graduate of Oberlin Conservatory of Music, I offer my students valuable insights. My top priority is to kindly guide students towards a deeper understanding of music and instrumental technique. I work with students of all ages, abilities, and levels - adults and professionals are also welcome!
Students leave each lesson with a clear understanding of their goals for the upcoming week. Lessons teach the student how to improve their technique in each practice session -- often resulting in increased enjoyment and less struggle.
In our initial consultation (via Zoom), let's meet briefly to discuss any goals and general objectives. We will also discuss my teaching philosophy, studio policies, tuition costs, and mutual availabilities for our first session.
Each prospective student also has the option to add a complimentary 15-minute intro mini lesson onto this initial meeting - please inquire!
In-person lessons are available in Manhattan near Penn Station and virtually via Zoom. In-home and hybrid options (a mix of in-person & virtual) are also possible
