Great experience working with Hakim. Very reasonable prices, and he is able to turn around the session fast. So if need need to get tracks mixed and you are reaching a deadline, he is the person you need. Not only can he meet any deadline, but the quality of the mix is amazing. After the first mix, if you need little tweaks to be made, he is more than understanding and is willing to make edits at a very timely pace. I would definitely recommend his service to anybody in the NYC area looking to get tracks professionally mixed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First I typically have a phone conversation with the potential client so we can discuss their needs. Then I will propose a production plan and if we agree on the scope of the project I will quote a price. After my price quote you will need to pay a 50% deposit to be booked on the calendar. Once we receive the deposit and date(s) on the calendar we follow up and execute one or more of our services until the project is complete. Lastly we will review the project and deliver the final product after the balance is paid in full.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My father was a Motown Producer who was the Music Director for DeBarge for over 25 years. I grew up in and around the record business. I also graduated the Institute of Audio Research and New York University.
