"We're in a month into our training program with Greg and its going great. He's excellent - our workouts are a nice balance of hard physical work and fun cardio with boxing. We do a lot of laughing as Greg makes jokes and keeps our spirits up as we push ourselves with the weight training. Getting our training schedule set up was very easy and Greg's facility is very easy to get to and very clean and well maintained. Overall Greg is just top notch!"

"I was training with Iosif since June 2016 (more than a year) - and I really value this relationship. Iosif is a very experienced trainer. He is the true professional in the best meaning of this word. Over this time I made a lot of progress, lost weight, gained muscle, became much more flexible. I stay differently. I move differently. I feel differently. When I travel, I miss our training sessions. I really feel better when I train with Iosif regularly (2-3 times per week). What I like about Iosif is how he customizes the training sessions based on my current state. It is amazing how a small change to an exercise or a stretch can completely change its difficultly level. Also it is quite amazing how Iosif can make effective workouts with minimum set of tools (or even without any equipment)."

"Zhi Sun is very professional to my training goals and the way to get there. He is very good at adapt to my exercise pace and build on the training when I get stronger so that I continue chanllenge my body and make progress. "I've been training with Richie on and off for the last thirteen years. Ideally I'd love to train with him five days a week. Unfortunately, work and life in general make that difficult. When I first started with Richie he would have me demonstrate how I did a certain exercise, like a dumbbell curl. He would make adjustments as needed and I would almost always have to go to a lighter weight. He would emphasize form which worked hand in hand with exploiting the muscle. The day after working out with Richie I always had that "good sore" feeling in whatever body part we worked on. He also had me write down what I ate everyday. I was already pretty meticulous with what I ate. He gave me a meal plan and I followed it to a T. Five weeks into the meal plan Richie gave me he re-checked my body fat. It dropped from18% to just under 13%. When he saw the results he stood up and hugged me. I didn't know how to react at first especially since I only knew him for a few weeks. He then explained that he was psyched because I followed the meal plan. The measurements he took didn't lie. One of the biggest reasons that I really enjoy training with Richie is that he is creative and does a great job at "muscle confusion." The work he does in preparing for an individual's training session pay off over time. He is by far the most knowledgeable person I have ever met when it comes to weight/fitness training. On days I'm not training with Richie I hear his voice in my head pushing me. That's the positive effect he'll have on you! Don L."

What is kickboxing?

Kickboxing is a type of martial art whose basic moves are widely practiced in personal and group fitness regimens. In combat kickboxing, two competitors fight using four points of contact — both hands and both feet — unlike traditional boxing, where competitors are allowed to use their hands. In competitive kickboxing, opponents must remain standing, and no fighting can occur on the mat or ground. Kickboxing has its roots in Muay Thai and other ancient martial arts. What is a boot camp class?

Fitness boot camps are a heart-pounding way to boost your fitness level. Fitness boot camps encourage camaraderie, and the group momentum helps participants get through fast-paced intervals of cardio, isometric training, strength training and endurance drills. What should you wear to kickboxing?

What you wear to kickboxing can vary based on the setting. For kickboxing group fitness classes that are part of a gym’s cardio class schedule, standard fitness attire is appropriate. Athletic sneakers, pants or shorts that you can comfortably kick in without getting tangled or flashing anyone, and a top that allows for easy movement when punching and jabbing are all good choices. You won’t need protective gear or gloves, as most cardio-based kickboxing classes do not use punching bags.

Kickboxing training that takes place at a martial arts studio typically requires protective gear. You may need boxing gloves (beginners may want 12-ounce or heavier gloves for more cushioning) and hand wraps that protect and support your hands under the gloves while you punch the bag.
