Brad M. says, "I started lessons with Anthony in December. Throughout my life I have had 3 guitar teachers before him, for as long as a year, and have never been better than I am right now (this is also in half the session time as previous teachers had me start with 1hr sessions). For the first time in my life I am confident to say "I play guitar," despite having started lessons when I was still in elementary school! His knowledge of the guitar, calm demeanour and method of teaching have me more comfortable than ever with a guitar in my hands. I'm confident transitioning between chords, as well as barre chords for the first time in my life! Oh, and now I can read music! Within the first month I was already able to start picking up and learning a few songs and now I can play most songs that I try to learn, picking up the chord progressions rather simply for most songs I attempt. Right now we are still progressing to get better each week, learning cool finger techniques and scales! After just a small time with Anthony I've developed a love and passion for playing the guitar, which has turned into an almost therapeutic experience right in the palm of my hands! Can't say enough good things about Anthony, and if your on the fence then I would say don't wait, start as soon as you can! You will be glad you did as right from day 1, Anthony will leave you amazed with what he can teach you!"See more

With 20 years of experience playing guitar and studying music theory, I bring both technical skill and musical insight to every lesson and performance. I have trained in multiple styles, from rock, jazz fusions, pop, contemporary, and classical environments allowing me to tailor lessons to each student’s goals and interests. In addition to guitar, I have experience with and studied, bass guitar, piano, drum kit, and other orchestral instruments. I attended McNally Smith College of Music in Minneapolis for music composition and was accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston, further honing my understanding of music theory and creative expression. I am currently an airline pilot and instructor teaching jet aircraft systems/procedures, bringing a disciplined, structured approach to all my instruction while keeping it engaging and accessible. Guitar Influences: (not limited to) Allan Holdsworth, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Shawn Lane, Greg Howe, Eric Johnson, Plini, Paul Gilbert, Van Halen, Steve Lukather, Pat Metheny, Jimi Hendrix, Yvette Young, Jakub ZyteckiSee more

Caleb S. says, "I have been playing guitar lightly on and off for 30 years. I have been around guitar enough to somewhat discern talent and skill. When I decided I wanted to start over and learn classical guitar from a professional teacher I went hunting for a great teacher. Before starting lessons with Peter I met with a couple other guitar teachers and gauged them against others I have known. I chose Peter because I found him to be everything I was looking for. Peter is smart. He is both a highly skilled player and a talented teacher. He is dedicated to teaching guitar vs teachers who don’t primarily play guitar or teachers who don’t have any training in guitar pedagogy. Peter is a great communicator in general, which has helped us navigate my complicated schedule and tailor my instruction to my needs and interests. Peter seems to be flexible and realistic with the curriculum he devised for me and the goals we set. Peter has a great personality for teaching. In the journey of developing guitar skill, I think he is a great guide. He knows the art, he knows how to teach it, he knows how to do hard things, how to overcome challenges, and he has a deep trove of experiences to draw from in lessons. My lessons with him have been fun, helpful, and well structured. For the kind of guitar playing I am interested in, my search is over, Peter is a great teacher."See more
