They were very welcoming as I entered their facility. The class was small which I loved and I felt that I could receive individual attention. It has been four years to six years since I took a yoga class so I didn't know what to expect. I was pleasantly pleased. I will definitely go back again. Peyton J. Harrison
Christy has a gentle and kind demeanor, and is very knowledgable in yoga positions and the many benefits of yoga. She taught a summer yoga on the beach series for our community members, and helped us to tune out the outside distractions and focus on ourselves, and the beauty of nature surrounding us. What a wonderful form of stress relief and finding our inner strength with Christy as our guide!
Taylor's yoga class is relaxing, engaging, and a pleasure each time. I'd love to practice with her again!

I teach women the amazing affects yoga has on your life as it has me. There are so many things to deal with life situations; how much more than exercise, mind, body, and spirit? Everything needs to be in sync, or your system is thrown off. Yoga has had a big part on my recovery from a double mastectomy. Thank God that I found it, studied it, and earned it. I can use it to help me today, and I would like to show other women what it can do for them also.
I offer personal yoga lessons. I have a relaxed yet enthusiastic approach, a perfect coach for beginners.

Welcome to Yana Yoga. My name is Amber LaPointe, owner and founder of Yana Yoga. In my classes, I try to keep things light and fun, but challenging and focused. I work to help my students integrate the mind, body and breathe in a way that leaves them feeling calm, yet strong and renewed. My teaching style is a mix of different styles, but mainly Vinyasa (for people who have no clue what that means, it simply means that I often sync the breath with movement). Most of my classes are suitable for students with some yoga experience. However, I do have classes for beginners and private yoga sessions. Please visit my website for more details.
I have a passion for creating a space for those who have been marginalized by larger society and those who may feel intimidated walking into a regular yoga class. Unlike many others offering similar services, I am especially sensitive to the needs of my clients on both a physical and emotional level. I use affirming language in my classes in order to decolonize yoga industry standards. I make sure all feel welcome and challenged to the best of their individual abilities.
