I love Lori she is the sweetest and so funny. She knows how to make you feel comfortable and in tune with your own abilities. First thing she told me when we meet is my goal is to bring you back to yourself in build confidence! From that moment on I knew she was trustworthy, loyal and someone that could take me far in my teaching of both piano and voice.

Joe is an excellent guitar player with a great deal of knowledge to pass along. As an unorthodox student (someone with previous self taught experience who has not played in several years), he has helped me get back to where I once was and start to advance beyond that in just a few lessons. His lessons are also very reasonably priced.

About

I'm a piano instructor. I work in music reading, piano techniques, finger practice lesson (vary from scale) and music reading. I specialize in classical form and romanticisim, from bach to chopin.

About

I offer aspiring musicians expert guidance through the often confusing first stages of learning an instrument. I will walk you the process of finger development, and technique (which most teachers neglect). I take pride in getting my students to reach their "a-ha" moments concerning chord, scales, and harmonic theory. Learn how to play your favorite songs, jam tastefully, or even write your own music!

About

We provide unconventional guitar and bass lessons lessons that you won't experience with a classical teacher. Anyone interested in learning quickly will do just that.

About

I am a guitar teacher based out of Syracuse, NY. I have novice knowledge of guitar technique and theory. Whether you're looking to just learn some chords to play on your acoustic guitar around the camp fire, learn how to improvise with your friends in a jam session, learn about guitar theory and technique, or just want to increase your overall ability to learn and play music, I'm here to teach you. I've wanted to start teaching guitar to people a while ago, but could never really find a place to get started. I’m motivated and very interested in teaching what I think is an amazing art to anyone and everyone who wants to learn. Starting from the time I’ve written this, I’ve played guitar coming on 6 years now. I'm very dedicated to my art, and I love the feeling of showing other people that they can harness the power of music in their hands. It's a very good feeling to express yourself this way, plus it makes you look kind of cool.

I am offering private lessons on guitar or bass. I am a trained, experienced professional musician with over twenty five years in the business. Method plans are tailored to suit the needs and aspirations of each student, so results come quickly. Lessons take place in my home studio, and are 30 minutes long, once per week. The rate is $80 per month which includes four lessons. There are no other charges; all recordings and written materials are included. References are available upon request. I accept all ages and levels. My youngest student is six, my oldest is sixty. Learn the basics with chords and play some of your favorite songs, or delve into advanced harmony, scales and improvisation. Over the years, I have played jazz, blues, country, rock and more. I love what I do and it shows in the playing of my students.

Dennis is wonderful at helping me accomplish the goals I’ve set for myself and I highly recommend him as a music teacher. Although I’m not a guitar student, I’ve had Dennis work with me to help develop my skills with jazz. He makes lessons both interesting and challenging yet never leaves me feeling discouraged or feeling that that something is too difficult. I love that he gives me many strategies for learning new pieces, for developing my ear, and for improving my competence as a jazz musician (rhythmically, technically, harmonically, etc). I especially like that everything we work at gets applied in the context of playing real tunes – nothing is ever given in isolation without going on to the application of the skill during the lesson. I’ve been working with Dennis for 3 years now and continue to look forward to each lesson with him.
