We are just beginning piano lessons, but our first impression of Siobhan Mccarthy was very positive.

I wasn't sure what to expect with going to a voice coach for the first time, but it was apparent Nina knows her stuff and has a great method for training her students. I was completely comfortable and we worked on exercises that I took with me to already start helping me with my technique just after 1 practice. Highly recommend!

Janessa was my vocal coach in high school and helped me get prepared for my college auditions in my senior year as well as help me land the lead in my high school musical! I learned great strategies to help my voice mature and a lot of foundational skills that I missed out on not having played an instrument. Janessa was able to help me overcome a lot of the bad habits that I had as well as push me to expand my vocal skills. She was a great Christian role model and I appreciated her approach. I would recommend Janessa to any young singer looking for direction and focus in their singing career.

Was incredibly helpful in teaching me proper form and technique. Starting out I had a lot of sloppy habits. My breathing needed help and so did my confidence. After taking lessons with Darius I was finally able to project and used my diaphragm! Minimizing the use of my breathy tone.

Both of my kids have taken piano lessons with Robin, 3 years each. What a caring and knowledgeable teacher she is! My daughter took lessons for 3 years but then stopped when her other extracurricular activities began to interfere with her ability to practice. Not long after, my son asked if he could start piano lessons! Robin uses a curriculum book series that is fun for kids to use as they improve their performance skills and is also pleasant for parents to listen to as their kids practice. Robin's assets include vocal training as well as a rock music background which makes her "cool" to her students (to my kids at least!) Sadly, neither of my kids is playing piano at present, but Robin's instruction provided them with a solid foundation in music and music theory for their current instruments (flute and percussion). Highly recommended!

Doreen started teaching my oldest son, Darin, 8 years ago when I was pregnant with my fourth son, Gavin, who has been taking lessons from Doreen for the past year as well. The first time we met Doreen we heard one of her students play and were amazed. Happily I can say that thanks to Doreen my oldest son plays just as well now and fills our home with never ending music. Thanks so much Doreen!

I started voice lessons with Theodora back in high school junior year when I decided to sing on a whim. I have to say, Theodora's understanding of music and singing made me love it significantly more than I thought. Her understanding of vocal pedagogy and classical technique helped me develop my voice far more quickly than I expected and helped me develop a fascination with voice. Though I ended up pursuing jazz voice lessons in university, I would highly recommend lessons with her; the classical technique she teaches in her lessons are invaluable for singers of any style.
