Professional, friendly, and knowledgeable, I highly recommend Natalie for voice and piano lessons.
Have had a very positive experience with this music studio. I started guitar lessons last fall with Ian Harrah. I am a complete novice - could not be further from being "a natural" - and Ian has been so patient. The owner, Brad, has also been very easy to work with when scheduling my first visit and setting up payments, and he even called just to see how lessons were going. Definitely recommended!
I've been taking guitar lessons with Christian for about a month now and I can honestly say I'm really pleased with the experience. It's clear that Christian has a love and talent for music and has chosen to share it with others. I've tried to teach myself guitar on and off for 10 years and never got far. Now, a month in, I'm already starting to learn my first song. Christian is organized with planned lessons based on the level you're at and teaches you the tools you need in order to play and eventually even write - including music theory. He's patient, can explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand, and there's never any rush to learn a new step before you're ready which - as a student w/ two jobs - keeps lessons and practice fun and easier to stick with since I feel like I can take my time and learn at my own pace. If you're looking to learn guitar, definitely give Christian a call.
Jimmy has been flexible and responsive. My husband had a wonderful experience beginning guitar lessons. He's expressed looking forward to continued lessons with Jimmy.
I wanted to learn to play the guitar for several years but was always concerned about finding the right instructor. But after taking lessons from John, I wish I had done so earlier as he has been great. John tailors the lessons to the type of music I want to learn to play and suggests good techniques to improve my ability to play the instrument. I was amazed at how well I was playing the guitar after just a few lessons. I would highly recommend him!
I've known Paul for over 20 years. I was his student for 3-4 years back in the early 2000's. I became friends with him through my classical guitar lessons & we have been close ever since. I fell in love with his philosophy for teaching. It is so different (and simple). He asked me what I want to play, then proceeded to take me to that goal on the quickest path possible. He did't tell me I have to do this or that; play scales; learn elementary stuff and then advance from there. He just said "what would you like to learn to do?" Paul's gift is not in teaching people music theory or an instrument... his real and obvious gift is in his ability to "teach people how to learn". Then he simply guides you on your path of study. Paul, without doubt, is "one of a kind"
Bro. Roger Parish has provided piano lessons to both our daughters over the years and we've found him to be patient, thorough, generous and simplistic. He is a Man of God that has gained our trust and respect. He genuinely desires to see the children perfect whatever gift of music God has given to them. Can't fail to mention how emensly talented in God he is himself - he not only can sing very well but he can play & teach many different instruments, equally well. My husband & I are thankful to know Bro. Parish and have nothing but good things to say about him.
Tony was very quick to contact me after I expressed interest in taking guitar lessons. He gave me a quote, set up a practice period of several lessons without a contract, and made it easy and affordable to start learning to play. I would recommend Noteworthy to other beginners.
My daughter is completely enjoying her piano lessons with Jody. She is super organized and a wonderful communicator. Jody is very flexible and tries to accommodate your needs. Thank you Jody!
I've taken several bass guitar lessons from Dennis and the experience has been great. I wanted to be better player after playing for almost twenty years and he has definitely put me on that path. He was quick to assess my ability and develop lesson plans accordingly. He prepares for my lesson each week and has an excellent teaching method - definitely seeing results already.
We consider Gary a huge blessing to our family! He teaches guitar (acoustic, electric, and base) to two of our teen boys - and his enthusiasm, ability to teach, musical skill, and kindness are simply outstanding! He would be a *treasure* to anyone seeking to learn guitar, and we give him the highest recommendations to all we know!
I took lessons from Dru for about 6 months and he was an excellent teacher. He creates custom lessons based on your own guitar playing goals that he works with you to develop. Working towards well crafted goals keeps you accountable and driven to practice. Dru has an easy going personality and cares about his students getting the most out of their playing.
Charley has given my teenager guitar lessons for almost 3 years. He started with no experience and is now playing both acoustic and electric guitars. Charley is flexible, really good with children/teens, and has a wealth of music knowledge.
I find Steve Daw to be an excellent musician with great guitar skills. He has a very keen ear and also knows how to teach and perform many styles of music, including classical, jazz, and contemporary Christian music.
Beginner in playing Guitar? Would definitely recommend approaching Megan Mateer.
If you would like to get the basics of the guitar down, this is a great starting template for you. Learn about the instrument you're playing. We will go over strings, notes, and frets. You will learn how to tune and re-string a guitar. You will learn chords, chord structures, and basic rhythms. After your lessons, you will have hit a new plateau on the guitar and will be able to pick up things all on your own.
