After dealing with flaky and shady contractors for years, Steven was a breath of fresh air. I was having problems with my ductwork in my garage sweating in the summer due to having a new more powerful AC unit, and the old insulation no longer being enough to keep the cold in. He replaced drywall, remedied all of the mold growth, fixed my terrible lighting situation, and properly insulated the ductwork. As a result of the high humidity in the garage from the sweating ducts, the old ceiling tiles in my basement had begun to fall. Steven removed them all and installed drywall with recessed lighting, and removed a dividing wall as well, opening up and brightening the space. His friendliness and attention to detail throughout this whole process was fantastic and his willingness to explain each step he was working on, all while asking for my input was much appreciated. Truly a skilled craftsman.

Talk about curb appeal improvement! I'm so excited to be working with Steven! He is the complete embodiment of what you expect in a good handyman and more! From first communication to final caulking, Steven is phenomenal! Steven is very easy to talk to. He called, reviewed the information from the app, and set the appointment. He made sure I understood what the project may entail and offered several cost effective options. He also followed up to confirm a couple of days before. Steven arrived when he said. He made quick work of removing the doors and getting the area prepped for installation of the new ones. He ran into a few snags but worked them out pretty quickly. When Steven finished, he made sure the area was cleaned before he left. He even came back the next day to do additional clean up on the exterior around the frame for a sharp finished look. He then took the time to walk through my house with me to get details on future projects! Steven is an absolute joy and very knowledgeable! I am looking forward to my future projects!

I like to get to know my customers ideas and what the ideal outcome would be. We build a plan together and everything is visible to the customer each step of the way.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started doing construction with my dad growing up. He was a general contractor and electrician in Tennessee. I took to the trades naturally and have enjoyed building/fixing/renovating ever since.
