James is a great down to earth teacher who makes learning really fun! He is very accomadating to our schedule and really knows his stuff. If you are looking for a great guitar or ukelele teacher, look no further.
Sharon was great to work with and schedule lessons for me and my daughter. Have already had a great start. Highly recommended.
My daughter has been taking saxaphone lessons from Scott this past year. She loves to go to the lessons as Scott mixes things up to keep it encouraging. Works very well with children and keeps me informed of how things are progressing.
Jeff is a versatile musician, very skilled and also a great teacher. He can teach a wide range of musicial styles, from Classical guitar to blues and jazz and hundreds of electric genres. Very funny, polite, he asks only for your best effort-beginners through advanced students will be challenged by Jeff's teaching.
Rick is a great guitar instructor. He is very patient and also able to customize the class based on student's unique situation and learning needs, flexible on the time as well. For someone like me who barely have any music background nor experience, making up the mind to learn a new instrument at the age of 27 is never easy, but now with Rick's help and his tailored teaching method & approach, I'm really enjoying my guitar lesson now and can't wait to learn new stuff every week. Rick will make sure that every week's assignment will be challenging, but not overwhelming, and I do feel great pride in accomplishing those small challenges one at a time.
Tyson did a great job! My daughter's wedding was a small affair. The marriage ceremony, reception, dinner, and after party were all performed in the same facility . Not only did he entertain the guests at the after party with the music they wanted for dancing (He takes requests). But he also plays acoustic guitar. He accompanied my daughter's sister (a great singer herself) with his guitar during the wedding ceremony and with a tribute song at the reception. Everything went off as planned. It was a great day!!!
i take extra time if needed with students, i encourage them to call between lessons if they need extra help

Hi, I'm Jake. I am currently a junior at Malone University, studying music production. My primary instrument in school is the bassoon, but I am also a self-taught guitarist and drummer. I play in numerous bands and ensembles across campus, including the marching and symphonic bands. I would love to help you learn to play one of these instruments and experience the joy of creating music.
I teach based on a students goals and not mine. I have recording gear and major backing tracks and can teach you to teach yourself how to solo or write songs. I also provide video recap of your lesson so you do not forget what you have learned. I can also song during lessons making songs more realistic.

I have been playing Bass, piano, and guitar for over 10 years and I specialize in ear training bass lessons. I will teach as much theory as is necessary combined with the proper ear and "feel" training to give the best lesson experience I am able to give, along with a fun attitude. I will teach you what you want to learn, I will cater to your needs as a bass player and a musician. We will learn from each other and learn how to play music with another person or a group. All of my knowledge is available for your benefit. I play in multiple bands across the greater Ohio area, and have solid experience playing music on stage in front of a crowd. I hope you will consider me for your next opportunity to do something you love, and get better at it!
I take interest in your success and offer help via Skype in addition to your lesson time when I'm available.
I have been playing guitar for 8 years, teaching for 2. I love to teach and perform. I have always been a better songwriter than a guitarist, so if thats what my student is inspiring to do I can offer advice from a position of understanding.
I am a student at Kent majoring in music. I have been playing guitar for over 7 years. I can play and teach electric, acoustic or bass with an emphasis on soloing. I stand out as a guitar teacher because I have a music theory and classical background that helps students better understand what they are playing and opens them up to different ways of playing than just strumming chords. I adjust my lesson plans to each student to suit their interests and abilities. If a student has a question I will go to any lengths to find their answer.
I offer guitar lessons to kids who are either just picking up a guitar, or who have been playing for a little while, but need direction in order to advance. I love working with kids of any age and showing them how rewarding this instrument can be! As I have matured as a musician, I have learned that there are three areas one must master as a guitarist. 1) Technique- HOW to play mechanically 2) Theory- WHAT to play. The science of music. 3) Composition- YOUR music. What makes your playing different from everyone else? It is my goal to show kids how to progress in each of these three areas.
I taylor the lesson around YOUR needs and interests. I make learning FUN and help you build CONFIDENCE in your abilities.
