From the initial conversations with Mark, the owner, up until the end of the actual move, everything went very well. Mark is incredibly attentive and professional. He worked with me for over two months before the actual move date. His guys arrived early. They were very personable and friendly. They packed so well it was pretty amazing. We hired movers previous to them for an intermittant move, and they charged way more and packed much less than this team. Not to mention we had a blast the whole time. These guys are amazing, hands down. And you cannot beat the price . They can pack like it is a tetris game. I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you guys SO much !!!(show more)
I was expected to move out of my previous apartment on Jan 31st, with no wiggle room, and move in to my new place on Feb 4th. I turned to Thumbtack to see if any moving companies would be able to help me. The following day, I received a phone call from Alex, who talked me through my choices and followed up with me several times. I would have to get movers twice, for both days, then pay month's worth of storage to store my items until the 4th. However, my new landlord sped up his process and with his help, I was able to work it out to only do the move on one day, Jan 28th. I called Alex back and was pleased with the new quote and set it up. I was then charged $45 to reserve my date. I wasn't too happy about paying for that over the line, but I went with it and I'm glad I did. A little closer to the move, Alex called me to reschedule for the 29th due to the job before mine being a long distance move, I agreed. My window was between 10 am - 12 pm. Alex called about 11:45 am to let me know the movers would be running a little late due to weather. I said okay. The movers called me and told me they were bringing an extra person for free since it was taking awhile. The movers arrived at 1 pm and started working/charging by the hour at 1:25 pm (I was living on a crowded street with no parking, it took them a minute to find parking, understandably). Leon, Roy, and Jahmere worked diligently and efficiently until the move was complete at 4:25 pm. They were very professional and never complained about the steps (moved from a third floor apartment to a second floor) or snow. I would absolutely recommend their services. THIS WAS A COMPLICATED MOVE. I dealt with "Pierre" until the very end when he was in the hospital. "Michael", the dispatcher, was very helpful in keeping me informed of all movement. The movers that showed up in Akron, OH were very helpful and courteous. The movers that showed up in Clearwater, FL were also very helpful. We were very happy that the "quote" we were given was exactly what we were charged. There were no hidden fees. I would not hesitate to deal with this company again if I could use Pierre and Michael.(show more)
