Hey, guys! Now that I am finishing up my associate's in science (health, physical education and recreation/athletic training), I've decided to take my experience and offer something called Breakthrough-Personal Training.
I've been a guinea pig of my own ideas for about six years now. Trust me. It's what I finally called a breakthrough, mentally and physically!
I work part-time at Phillips 66 Refinery Gym, teaching a strength and conditioning class. I workout at three different gyms and after a lot of people asking me, I've finally made the choice to offer what I have been working on, via email, text, Facebook, Instagram or one on one. There's not a minute that goes by during the day that I'm not thinking of ways to make myself better. Why not others, too?
I've been waiting for the right time to decide to start training and help others dominate their fitness goals. I just wanted to wait until I finally thought I could perform and help at my very best!
I am experienced, but I learn new things every single day, just like you do. I know that there are a lot of you who think "I just don't have what it takes to keep up." I hear that pretty often.
That's not true. Everyone starts somewhere. I did! It was by the end of a training session of six weeks or six months.
However long it takes, I want you to have confidence in developing and sticking to a fitness routine inside or outside of the gym, as well as creating diversity in your goals, concluding to creating a long-lived life for yourself. You deserve that much!
Remember that you don't have to be great to start. You have to have the potential. After so many people telling me that I was good at what I do, I finally wanted to make it available for those who want to train with me.
Whether you're 15 years old, or you are 80 years old, I want to be able to help empower you to be healthier in mind, body and spirit. For those of you who want to be proud leaving your biometric screening with great feedback, I want to help you prepare for employment! I want to welcome and embrace newcomers who are shocked and get nervous when it comes to the gym. I want to help you, whether you are gearing up for a game as a student athlete or just looking to increase overall fitness.
I want to be able to help you breakthrough the mindset and body you dislike. I have the desire to become more rounded as an athlete/competitor and trainer in the fitness industry. I'm driven and focused in everything I do. I eat, breathe and live this life. It's what I love, and it's my passion.
My purpose in this industry is to change lives, to lead people to a healthier overall well-being. Because of my purpose, I am naturally driven, and I see the bigger picture in this life. It is easy to motivate and inspire others without effort when you love the life you live to encourage others.
Like Ashley Horner once said, "It just pours out of me even during moments of my everyday life."
To be a motivator to others, you don't need to have a story or a crazy transformation. Simply taking the time and recognizing someone's hardwork is enough and can ignite their fire even more to become better as a person, physically, emotionally, socially, and intellectually.
So, to my friends who are wondering -- yes, that means you! I would like to now help you on individual progressions and modifications. I will be tailoring each workout to your fitness goals! This is a breakthrough.
