- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started working in construction when I was 19, doing a steel framing job. There I learned some basics about building. After that I did some Drywall for a commercial company and also did residential. I also worked assembling cabinets and setting up the displays in Home Depot’s. After that I would just do odd jobs such as; repairs, assemble furniture, framing walls, epoxy floor, stone patio, gazebo, install fence, landscaping, painting buildings, lawn care, electric fence installation, and shelves.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve got the chance to work with a lot of different types of customers, I’ve worked with people that don’t know anything about upkeep and maintenance, and people that have an understanding but aren’t capable of doing the work themselves. I’ve worked for easygoing laid back customers, customers that look into the fine details of the work, and for some customers that no matter what you do, its just not what they envisioned.
