Zak is super encouraging and patient with me. I'm not a super healthy or gym fanatic. I'm more of hot Cheetos and cheese kind of girl. But he has helped me eat healthier without changing my whole eating habits all in one day, and he is super flexible with my work schedule. He checks up on me even when I'm not having a session with him.
Great job! I really learned a lot from this experience. As a beginner who had never done martial arts before, I was welcomed very warmly and I was helped through the process as I was learning. Had a great time and really enjoyed myself.
My yoga journey with Red Earth Yoga Center has been a wonderful experience. I was completely new to yoga when I scheduled private lessons with Carol about three years ago. She gave me the confidence to try a beginner class at the studio. Since that first class I have taken a variety of classes and retreats at the studio and had the opportunity to learn from several different instructors, but some things are consistent. The instructors are always encouraging and supportive and they create a non-competitive atmosphere where each person can feel comfortable. I am always challenged to give my best effort during each class while honoring how my body feels that day. In my first Ashtanga class with Waleah, she progressed the class into an asana that was very challenging for me. I hesitated to try it .afraid I would fall. Then she said, Dont worry if you cant do it. Worry if you dont try. Those were powerful words and I have tried and fallen many times but I have also tried with success more often. Since beginning my yoga practice, I have taken classes in Taos, Phoenix, Oklahoma City, and Dallas .and those classes make me appreciate the great classes and wonderful instructors at Red Earth Yoga Center even more. I would recommend Red Earth Yoga Center to anyone new to yoga or with an advanced practice.

I use yoga to help people balance their bodies and relieve pain. My main focus is therapeutic, and I teach hatha yoga, yin yoga, pranayama, and meditation. I have group classes and am also available for private sessions. I approach yoga asana through anatomical alignment to help correct bad habits, reduce pain, and prevent injury. All yoga should be therapeutic, and I teach a range of intensities, from very gentle to strong, but I always use an anatomical and therapeutic approach and cater to what the client needs.
I have 100 hours under Baptiste Power Yoga Institute, and I am completing another 100 through them in April. I am also completing 200 hours through Briohny Smith and Dice of Bryce Yoga in Los Angeles.
