Amy M. says, "As a friend of his, I have witnessed how Wyle welcomes everyone to join for a class. Strangers as well as good friends, he holds the door open for all. I have seen how he does his best to create easy access, especially with his free summer classes.
Wyle reminds us that all are teachers and all are students, that we are moving in and out of these roles whether or not we are conscious of them. So while he takes a turn as Teacher, he is constantly reminding the student to be in tune with their own inner guide. There is a magic to his classes, often hitting me during quiet moments and the perfect song ("Music will save the world" as he says).
I have had the privilege of watching him grow as a teacher since becoming a student of his in 2022. I see him try new things and challenge himself in how he offers himself to his students in the class setting.
If you are ever able to attend his yearly free summer offering of Yoga in the Park (based in Hillsboro), it is a sacred space for anyone who is curious to join. I quickly found he takes extra time to communicate poses that initially felt really tricky/vulnerable. He somehow creates a space that feels completely accepting and celebratory of us being exactly where we are.
Much love much gratitude <3"See more
