FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Absolutely. We are constantly learning new skills, new music, new ideas. While understanding the basics and roots of music are essential to any musician, being able to stay topical not only allows you to relate to a wider student base, it helps to expand your musical taste and knowledge so that you can be a more effective educator.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Voice and piano private lessons are the most common, but I also teach Theory, Technique, Performance tips and tricks, Acting are some of the other areas that I help students excel.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently had a student that was deathly afraid of performing. We talked in great detail about what to expect, how to prepare and what to do if there was a hiccup during the performance. Even though she was incredibly nervous, she went through with the performance and did so with rave reviews from not just her family, but from members of the audience too! I was truly proud to have helped her conquer her anxiety, and her parents were even more elated! It was one of the best moments in my teaching profession!!
