I serendipitously met Jerry the day after the caterer for my wedding bailed on us. I am super grateful because I cannot imagine any better service for my wedding. That was the day that my wife and I dreamed about since we were little, and let's be honest -- food is the way to most peoples' heart -- so I'm very glad to receive compliments from guests that the food was excellent! My wedding was on the last weekend of Sept. 2014 at a farm near Brooks, OR. Jerry and his crew arrived several hours ahead of the ceremony start time, served up a delicious, several course meal in a banquet style, and were SO gracious to my Russian relatives who brought some Russian cuisine (which was unexpected). If you do business with Jerry, you can expect to be consoled by the air of competence he exudes. He is very approachable and kind, and is very good at painting at a picture of how the food will look like at your event.

It's Party Time Catering did my wedding and it was amazing very professional, helpful from the very start I did not know what I was doing and Viki helped me with everything start to finish. The layout was beautiful and the food was amazing!!! Everything was done with so much thought and care!!
June played a huge role in our wedding decor, and did a phenomenal job at designing all of our floral pieces! She assembled beautiful bouquets for my bridesmaids, and handsome boutonnieres for the groomsmen. I have known June for a number of years, and admire her trustworthy and honest character, she really loves her job, and it shows! When it came time for a consultation meeting, she was very flexible, and worked around our schedule. As soon as we sat down, and shared our ideas with her, we really felt that she understood our vision. She made it fun and gave helpful advice, and quickly caught on to our theme. She was all in, and VERY attentive, which made us even more excited! We didn't feel rushed at all during our meeting with her, she answered all of our questions, and made us feel very comfortable with leaving this task in her hands, we had no concerns! She quoted my husband and I a fair and affordable price, and even helped us save money, how awesome is THAT?! After our meeting, she got to work quickly! My husband and I paid for a wedding coordinator as one of our vendors, but honestly felt that June played that "role" more efficiently. Although she wasn't technically our coordinator, we felt that she went above and beyond her job description. This lady is literally someone you want on your team when it comes to planning for your big day. June was in frequent communication with us, and made us feel as if we were her only customers. When the big day finally arrived, June was right on time, and brought a team of associates to set up all of the decor and flower arrangements we discussed. I knew she was going to take care of everything, and it was a HUGE relief to know that she knew exactly what she was doing. The moment I walked down the aisle, I was amazed, everything was perfect! I think one of my favorite designs of hers was the arbor. The backdrop at the alter was made up of beautifully strung flowers, which hung from the top of the arbor to the ground, it was GORGEOUS!!! It was better than what I had imagined! June helped create a dream land for us on our special day and we loved it! The reception area was amazing, she designed beautiful centerpieces made of birch wood vases. And provided fruit wood table top slabs for our head table. It was more than we could have hoped for! Hands down, June is one of the BEST! We hosted about 150 guests, and had a short engagement of only 4 1/2 months, June was able to accomplish everything we wanted and more within that time! We were very happy with her work, and honestly don't know what we would have done without her! Trevor did a SUPERB job hosting our wedding! We asked for a specific vibe of music to go with our Sunday afternoon cocktail reception and dinner. He asked a lot of questions, was open to playing new and different songs we requested, and captured the vibe we were going for beautifully. He also provided announcements throughout our wedding day to keep the day moving smoothly and our guests informed of what was happening next. We loved working with Trevor and would hire him again!
Greg was the photographer for my wedding. It was a summertime farm wedding. He was there to photograph from setup to takedown. I love the photos! Especially the posed shots of my husband and me, as well as the families. He was very professional and fun and he is very easy to talk to. It was nice having a photographer that was "just another face" at the party (not in your face). I recommend him to everyone.
Well where do I start....I guess at the beginning, my first encounter was my wedding. I told her what I wanted and she did not hesitate, the prices were great, the flowers beautiful and she was right on time. Since then I have ordered many flower arrangements from her, birthdays, mothers day, ECT. Again prices are very fair and the flowers always fresh and delivered in a timely fashion. I would recommend Vanessa Sommerfeld to anyone for every occasion!
Autumn is lovely to work with, and was very helpful as our day-of-coordinator! During the wedding day she was making sure there was communication between all the prep areas, making sure everything was on schedule, and playing the right music at the right times! (We only had a live band during the dancing, and only playing songs from an ipod for the rest of the events.)
Mary Beth was a pleasure to work with. She is very professional and certainly knows her flowers! She showed up just at the right time and delivered beautiful flowers that lasted for quite some time after the wedding. I would highly recommend her to anyone!

There is a time in a woman's life that is the most important day she will experience. A time that she daydreams of her entire life. On September 6th, 2015 Amanda and I both had the most important day of our lives! But every bride knows that it is a whirlwind to actually get to the day of the wedding with all the planning, collecting, and projects it takes to actually pull of the day. Six months before our wedding a perfect gem came into our lives offering to be a day of coordinator for our wedding for learning experience to build her business in the best way possible. Of course we jumped on the offer and met with Vanessa the next week. We had an instant connection with Vanessa and right away she became family to us. She expressed to us right away what she was going to do for us and we all started to plan that night. The first thing that caught my attention was her immediate organizational skills. She wrote down everything we talked about right away and threw in amazing ideas. When Vanessa left that first night Amanda and I felt like we struck gold! As weeks went on Vanessa kept in close contact with us, always asking how we were doing and asking what she could do to help us. Vanessa came out to our house to work on projects with us, to continue planning, and to figure out our venue prospects. When we finally decided on a venue Vanessa was right by our side meeting with the venue managers and coordinators. She asked every question that we didn't think of and she made sure that we got the best deal possible. As the day came closer Vanessa was a constant support system for us and kept us cool and collected as the stress of a wedding came closer. As most wedding do we had a few hiccups with our venue and Vanessa took charge and fixed all the little speed bumps that came our way. At our rehearsal Vanessa came ready to shine with her impeccable organization. She knew what she was doing and kept explaining how the day was going to go to our wedding party. When we left that day we knew exactly how to walk down the isle, where to stand, how to walk out, and had a plan how the rest of the wedding would go. Needless to say we all felt comfortable and ready for the actual event. Of course when Amanda and I went to bed that night we were so ready for our beautiful outdoor dreamy wedding. When we woke up the next morning it was down pouring. As a bride panic set in knowing that our outdoor wedding could become disastrous. Not even a minute later I got a call from Vanessa calming my nervous and telling me she has a plan. Instantly I knew the day was would be perfect. When my side of the bridal party and I showed up to help set up there were beautiful white tents up to cover our guests and us during the wedding. Vanessa made magic happen to make sure our day went perfect. She directed everyone what still needed to be done and we got all decorations and tables set up in a fashionable time! When we all went to take pictures Vanessa stayed and continued to make our venue perfect. When we arrived it was like a fairytale, she put her beautiful touches on everything. When the wedding started she gathered the wedding party and since it was raining we had to change quickly where we were going to stand and Vanessa took charge and quickly made a decision for us. As we started walking down the isle the rain stopped and the sun came out and all I could do is smile because I knew Vanessa must have pulled some strings with the rain Gods because only she could pull off something like that! Needless to say the wedding went perfectly and the reason I know that is because Vanessa was running her butt off to make sure very thing was perfect and even if there problems she didn't let us know about any of them she just took care of it herself. As the night came to an end and we were getting ready for our exit and Vanessa was still in great spirits and ready to make sure the last few minutes were perfect!! As we got into our truck and drove away we noticed that Vanessa had placed all of our gifts and cards into our truck for us to enjoy that night! Vanessa stayed and cleaned the venue and that night dropped off all of our decor and supplies to our house so that we didn't have to worry about anything. Our over all experience with Vanessa was beyond amazing. Not only was she our day of wedding coordinator but now she is and will forever be Auntie Vanessa to our sweet babies!! If you are looking for a dedicated, organized, passionate, loving, creative day of coordinator for your wedding Vanessa Humphrey is the woman for you. She will blow your exceptions out of this world! Vanessa thank you so much for your support and love for weddings because we wouldn't have been able to do half of what we did without you!! We love you to the moon and back!!
Nataliya is hands down the best wedding planner a bride could ask for!!! She is extremely detail oriented and will make the best day of your life even better than you could imagine. She will help no matter how big or small the request is. From helping me find the perfect venue to cake to flowers she does it all. On the day of the wedding she made sure all the vendors knew where/what to do without me having to talk to anyone and just focus on being the bride. The venue looked perfect because she listened to everything I wanted and made it magically appear. My bridesmaids loved how kind and respectful she was when helping them find their places for the ceremony and herding them for the never ending photos I wanted. There is hands down no better wedding (or any other event) planner in Portland!!! I can’t wait to have another event that I can hire her to help me cause I know she will go above and beyond my expectations and make the day unforgettable.
I hired Liz as a Day-of-Coordinator for my summer wedding, and so far she has been a dream to work with. She is everything I am not, which is exactly why I hired her. She is super organized and full of energy.... total Type A personality. I've had one meeting with her (per the "This is It" package) and she blew me away with her wedding know-how and decor ideas. You can really tell she is a pro at what she does. It definitely takes a certain personality to do what she does, and she's got it. She has a "take charge" attitude that leaves me feeling relieved and at peace. It is really nice to know that all the little details on the day-of will be taken care of. Yes, Day-of-Coordinators are expensive, but if you shop around, you'll find that Soleil Bliss is one of the more reasonable packages around town (or out-of-town.... she's traveling 2.5 hours for my wedding). Do yourself a favor and buy yourself some peace of mind!! It will be worth every penny! At least I hope it will. Seeing as my wedding is still 3 months away, I'm not really in any position to evaluate her performance/services during an actual wedding. But I've been so impressed with her so far, I just had to write a review. I'll update this after the big event!!
We worked with the awesome duo from Parties and Events NW for our wedding, and it was an absolute dream. Rebecca was our wedding decorator, and Erin was our day of coordinator, and our wedding could not have gone more smoothly without the help of these two amazing ladies. When I first spoke with Rebecca, she communicated every detail about our wedding vision that ensured that no area of planning would go unnoticed. She is kind, patient, and oh so creative! We visited our venue together, and Rebecca gave excellent tips and ideas that helped create an aesthetic look that perfectly matched the goals we had previously discussed. We also used their decorations, which was both cost and time effective that greatly reduced wedding planning stress. You will absolutely be satisfied with how your venue will look, as it will exceed your expectations! Erin was likewise a gem to work with as our wedding day coordinator. There is absolutely NOOO way that our wedding could have gone as smoothly without her amazing help. She kept us calm and relaxed, and was flexible to any changes that ensured our day went according to plan (and that we eat and stay hydrated!). In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Erin kindly talked us through all the final details (and spoke all our other vendors) that helped minimize stress and any concerns we had. She is incredibly detail oriented, and gave attention to all parts of our wedding that allowed my husband and I to focus on what mattered most-- marrying each other! Both ladies communicate incredibly well and in a timely manner that will leave you feeling assured that your wedding day will look and go just as you envision. We received so many compliments about how beautiful our venue looked, and how fun our wedding was- all thanks to the expertise of this duo. We just celebrated my in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary. Liz and company catered our event. Liz and her sister listened to us and took our expectations to heart. They were very professional to deal with. They were prompt in responding to our texts and emails. Liz visited the event location two days ahead so she knows how to setup buffet tables. They showed up hours ahead to prepare. They were friendly and presentable. The food was absolutely delicious and each dish complimented one another. They helped in the clean up and packing all leftovers for us to take home. We had such positive experience with them. Thank you Liz and company for ensuring our event went well.
Vanessa was a wonderful event planner for my daughters first birthday! It wasn't a typical birthday it was one that any girl dreams of! It was a princess ball! It was so entertaining for the kids and the adults!! The invitations she created were so amazing and could never buy any that came close to hers! I will definetly be using her for my next event!

Creations by Ly did a most fantastic job for us. I don't think I could have planned my wedding without their help and I am so thankful they were there to help me have the most perfect wedding. They helped make my wedding day the best day of my life.
Regan and I cannot thank you enough for all you did to ensure that her wedding was all that she hoped it would be. From the first, when we wanted a simple ceremony with just a few guests followed by cake and champagne with the residents, to the final day, when we had 45 people for the ceremony in the garden, followed by lunch in the Sullivan Theater and then cake and champagne with the residents in the Hemingway Room, you were amazing. Every time we needed help (Referrals for bakeries? Photographers? Hair stylists?), every time we had questions (Can we have flowers delivered to you? Can we add something to the buffet for the kids? Can we play a DVD slideshow at the reception? ), your response was always no problem, we can do that. The lunch buffet was delicious and plentiful (SO glad we didnt cut the whipped potatoes with basil!), the servers were professional, and the transition from one location to the next seamless. And the little touches were so thoughtful (everyone loved the eat, drink and be married sign outside the reception!). You made the wedding so easy and so much fun, Melissa.
