I thought EJP did a great job with our wedding. Easy to get a hold off and easy to talk to. They put your mind at ease and come up with good ideas that I would have not thought of. They were able to talk to my parents and explained things to them easily. The meetings were very productive and efficient. They gave us ideas of how to save some money on some ideas. Also they are green which I like. Both Emee and Katherine pay attention to detail. The rehearsal put me at ease and the day of the wedding went smoothly and was beautiful. They are experienced with Indian weddings. The support staff did a wonderful job. I would absolutely recommend EJP to others! Do doubt about it.
On Christmas Day 1998, my husband proposed to me! I was thrilled beyond imagination.... then reality struck! My husband had never been married (we were both in our forty's) and wanted to have the BIG Church wedding, with a guest list of 400+ and he wanted to do it April 4th! I was completely lost and overwhelmed with the planning! Then we were invited to a Valentine Day party at a friends home.....when we walked into their home I was completely transfixed by the beautiful and unique flower displays, table scapes, and candle displays that turned their home into one of the most beautiful and romantic spaces I had ever seen. The next day I called Marianna Love from Absolutely Beautiful who had been responsible for my friends homes Valentine transformation. I met with Marianna that week and we discussed my dilemma... A wedding that was just a few weeks away, and my desperation in getting it all pulled together. There are no words to fully express my appreciation and gratitude to Marianna! With little clear direction from the frazzled bride to be, Marianna put together and executed a plan that to this day people still refer to as the most beautiful wedding they have ever attended. The flowers, the silk draping , the table settings, candle displays and menu to name a few, were all beyond imagination with beauty, romance and originality. Marianna transformed the church and the reception venue into an unimaginable place of pure bliss. Guests described it as a "very swish affair"....."something out of a magazine"...."looks like a made for TV wedding straight from Hollywood." All of the ideas were the product of Marianna's imagination and incredible talent and she executed her plan flawlessly! Over the years Marianna has planned and executed Christmas parties including decorating our home and has continued to prove herself over and over again as one of the most creative and original party planners I've ever encountered. She's not only a tremendously talented woman, she is great fun! One of the nicest people I know!
I worked with Autumn on the Tina & Josh Sanstrum wedding on November 10. It was at the Persimmon Country Club in Gresham. I had worked with Autumn before and knew what to expect. Unlike some other coordinators, she is very relaxed and let's the vendors do their job without any unnecessary distractions. She is flexible with the schedule which is a necessity at most weddings and doesn't hurry through the evening to get the formalities wrapped up quickly. The most important thing for me as a DJ is that she understands that 90 - 120 minutes is more than enough dance time. It's great to work with someone that has a good understanding of how a wedding should flow.
I could't be more happy that we hired Vanessa as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. From the first meeting, Vanessa was professional and organized and also extremely interested in all of the details of my wedding. My expectation was really just for her to help me keep things organized on the day-of, but periodically throughout the entire wedding planning process she would reach out to offer recommendations and advice as needed. A couple weeks before the big day, she stepped in and took over for all my interactions with all of my vendors for me (she even called my hotel to see if I could check in early to drop off my wedding gown). This was such a huge relief, because she was able to filter the stressful conversations in addition to saving me TONS of time so I could enjoy my wedding week with friends and family. On the wedding day, Vanessa showed up early to take care of every need (including printing out my wedding vows that I forgot to print!) throughout the entire day she was everywhere she needed to be without anyone needing to ask! At one point, our shuttle bus (for pre-wedding photos) driver was lost, but he only spoke Spanish so we were having a hard time telling him where to go - the next thing I knew, Vanessa is sitting next to him giving step-by-step instructions IN SPANISH! Vanessa did a great job organizing so many aspect of the day, even at the end of the night, she organized a beautiful sparkler send-off and helped my in-laws load our personal items into the cars after we left. She even took some extra items that were left behind to her house for safe-keeping until I came home from my honeymoon. All-in-all.... Vanessa was the glue that held my wedding day together and I recommend her 110%
Callie is so professional and fun at the same time! She does everything and makes the bride feel at ease, even if thing are going the way you didn't expect them. She is also very creative and has great ideas. She gets things done!!! Anyone would be lucky to have her help plan your wedding or event.
Tarah was absolutely hands down the BEST planner I could have ever had. She's very organized, attentive to detail, and extremely professional. She met with us prior to the wedding and went over a complete lists of "to do's" so that we would be sure to not forget anything on the day of. I was completely clueless about the type of decorations or setting I wanted and asked her to just "make it beautiful." She had amazing ideas that were both simple and reasonable, making it a complete stress-free experience for me. When it came to the actual wedding day, she was on top of everything. Everything worked like clockwork and if anything happened that wasn't part of the plan, I didn't know about it. She was literally a text message away (even while taking care of setting everything up!) and was still able to take care of last minute family dramas. Even my vendors had only the best things to say about her! Absolutely wonderful experience!
My wife should be writing this review, but I want to take a moment to tell you what a great job Lisa (my wife) and Soleil Bliss Event Productions did for us. We had been planning our wedding for about 13 months and from the very beginning my wife knew she wanted a planner. Liz drove from Vancouver, WA to Seattle to meet with us as purely a consultation. Our first impression of Liz was here is a woman who knows how a wedding should be done. Within five minutes we knew we had found our planner. As my wife's vision of the wedding changed over the 13 months Liz was there every step of the way to help with any problems or offer solutions on how to make her plans become reality. The amount of stress that Liz took off my wife's shoulders as our special day drew near was astounding. On the day of our wedding Liz was able to fix a major dress malfunction, whip out two corsages for my wife's mother and my mother, coordinate a less than accommodating venue staff in reference to their idea of decorating, and all this was done after she had stayed up until close to 2 AM to decorate our ceremony and reception areas. Liz took a great event, location, setting, and environment and transformed it into something completely phenomenal. Our expectations were so far exceeded that we could not believe what she had created was our wedding. Thank you so very much Liz. I can't urge anybody reading this enough to talk with Liz and let her plan and coordinate your wedding. You will not regret a single moment nor worry in the slightest that your event will be anything less than extraordinary.
Nataliya is hands down the best wedding planner a bride could ask for!!! She is extremely detail oriented and will make the best day of your life even better than you could imagine. She will help no matter how big or small the request is. From helping me find the perfect venue to cake to flowers she does it all. On the day of the wedding she made sure all the vendors knew where/what to do without me having to talk to anyone and just focus on being the bride. The venue looked perfect because she listened to everything I wanted and made it magically appear. My bridesmaids loved how kind and respectful she was when helping them find their places for the ceremony and herding them for the never ending photos I wanted. There is hands down no better wedding (or any other event) planner in Portland!!! I can’t wait to have another event that I can hire her to help me cause I know she will go above and beyond my expectations and make the day unforgettable.

Vanessa was a wonderful event planner for my daughters first birthday! It wasn't a typical birthday it was one that any girl dreams of! It was a princess ball! It was so entertaining for the kids and the adults!! The invitations she created were so amazing and could never buy any that came close to hers! I will definetly be using her for my next event!

As soon as I got engaged I knew I wanted a destination wedding, but had no idea how to start the process. As soon as I finished my initial phone call with PJ I knew I could trust her to help me through the process. She was so patient with me as we spent almost 2 months researching every possible destination wedding idea I had. I finally made a decision for a Jamaica wedding and feel I made the absolute best decision for our priorities and budget. PJ has helped me build my website, negotiate room rates, and reminds me that wedding planning is actually fun! I know I am asking a lot of my family and friends to go to such lengths to celebrate on my special day but am confident that PJ will make the planning process for them as smooth as possible.
Nadia was so attentive and dedicated for us. We've been told by many people that our wedding was one of the best planned weddings they've been to and that is largely due to Nadia's on-top-of-it-ness. We planned our wedding in Salem from New York and she was great in accommodating us by emails d Skype and other remote working solutions. She also provided invaluable help on the ground when we couldn't make personal visits leading up to the day. Bottom line: Nadia is awesome. Creations by Ly is a top notch wedding planning group. And we would highly recommend the whole team to anyone planning a wedding in Oregon.
