FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Project pricing in Interior Design is always based on the project scope and range of services needed. It is best to have a consultation with an Interior Designer to get the most accurate estimate of services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I typically meet with a client in the space(s) they are looking to design in. I then listen, listen, ask questions, and listen to what they hope to experience in these spaces and who they are. In the case of a property for sale I listen to who the target audience is. From there I create colors, textures, styling boards and start the exange of confirmation that we are going the right direction. Mapping is where I bring the designs together with layout, furniture choices, material options and budgets. when design selections have been made I project manage the purchasing, deliveries, timelines and staging as well as any needed subcontractors or permits from the city. Lastly we have a photoshoot and pop the cork for a toast.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, CSI Certificate in Project Managment, A CCB License and ongoing construction contractor education, currently i am taking extended education in Architecture Design. I am always in the study of art, design and seeking inspiration!
