Freedom's yoga classes at Studio Modern Yoga are quite refreshing and always a nice dose of fun. The approach is delightfully unique and catered to the needs of those in attendance. If you have a physical injury, she'll make sure to check in with you before sending you into a potentially painful pose. She's always been early and patiently waiting for attendees. Even having only occasionally done yoga for the past few years, she's got me doing inversions like I'm a regular practitioner. Freedom radiates a caring and loving energy, and is a pure delight to be around. Best vinyasa yoga teacher I've ever had!
I have been taking classes with Abby for about a year and she is just the best! Abby is incredibly knowledgable, intuitive, funny, and does her best to ensure all of her students are able to get what they need out of their practice. Through working with Abby in daily practice and through workshops, I have learned how to conquer challenging poses as well as recognize and correct my poses and posture through specific muscle engagement. Overall, I have gained an immense amount of knowledge about my body and myself. If you crave a wholesome practice incorporated with a few good laughs, I highly recommend you call Abby right away!
Alissa taught yoga at our workplace. I am not new to yoga but havenât done much of it the last few years and Alissaâs class was a great way to get back into it again. Her verbal cues and demonstrations are clear and I felt like I learned a lot after just one class. She is so extremely helpful with assisting you as you bend, shift and twist your way into the poses... your comfort and proper form are one of her utmost focuses. I love that Alissa always asks her students if there is anything that someone would like to work on before the class begins. As others have noted here, she is very passionate about yoga and is dedicated to helping others reap its benefits and I would highly recommend trying her classes.

I have been attending Jessica's Yoga classes at Road Runner Sports in Tualatin. I especially like her dialogue during the class because it sticks in my head and helps me apply it to my daily life. I have noticed an improvement to my posture while running and that feels great! Private sessions at my workplace are very much appreciated during my busy season as a tax preparer, and melt the stress away like a day at the spa.
Awesome first session! I want to keep up with yoga but the class schedules just don't work. Maigen brought the yoga to me. She had a routine worked out (told her novice level) and she had a wide variety of poses, very knowledgeable. I felt good at the end of our session and would call her again.

I have attended Becky's yoga classes on multiple occasions. She always does a really great job of teaching a well rounded variety of full body yoga poses, which include opening, release, strengthening and relaxation. She is very mindful of her students needs and provides a variety of options depending on ability level. Also, when possible, she plays really great music during her classes. She comes highly recommended!
Kris is a wonderful yoga teacher. She stands apart because her focus is on longevity and proper alightment within the practice. She fine tunes each pose so it is safe and accessible for her students, while still maintaining a challenge. I look forward to her classes!

Gail led us in a number of hour-long yoga practice sessions over skype. We scheduled our classes in advance and Gail was always punctual and handled the sessions in a fun but professional manner. Gail is an excellent teacher. We are not experienced in yoga and Gail was able to give us modifications on some moves so we were able to feel successful even though our skill level and flexibility was limited. She didn't want us to have any injuries but wanted us to be able to practice at our own level. Our experience was wonderful but it would have been better if we were practicing yoga in person with her in her studio in Warren, OR. Thank you Gail we had an awesome experience.
I have been going to Sandra's yin yoga class at the Movement Center for several months now and really enjoy it. It helps me unwind and reduce muscle tension. It is a great mind-body awareness exercise. Don't be intimidated by holding poses longer in a yin yoga class --- it goes by so quickly and you always stay in a position that is comfortable for you. You practice surrender and learning to stop at your first point of resistance.
Amanda's yoga classes are the best! My boyfriend (a previously firm non-yogi) have had instruction from Amanda in the park- she tailored a perfect class with more challenging poses and flows for me and safe but challenging movements for him. Now he asks to do yoga! I always leave a session with Amanda feeling strong, relaxed, and recharged. She teaches with a perfect balance of humor, encouragement, and intuitiveness.
