I interviewed and hired Emee at EJP Events approximately 8 weeks before my wedding. I was interested in a small simple wedding of app. 30 people. Emee and her team provided excellent support before the wedding by supplying vendor options for me to interview and hire, excellent communications throughout reminding me of deadlines, payments and overall progress on our very tight timeframe. On the day of the wedding, Emee was one of the first people to arrive and I knew that I would not have to concern myself with any of the details of the day. Her calm demeanor and smiling face added to the joy of my special day. I highly recommend her services.
J29 events was a lifesaver the month of my wedding! As someone planning my wedding in Portland (living in Seattle) their local experience was helpful. Their experience with weddings led to great recommendations for how to work with vendors, plan the full day and make vendor recommendations when needed. Nicole was wonderful on site, and she went above and beyond to make sure the night went smoothly; all the way down to moving her hours around to ensure my rental items were returned in great shape. My husband and I met with Krysta in a Skype session- we live back east. We sought to find a planner who would help with everything in our wedding planning process because we were too far away to do it ourselves. She was literally amazing! She went above and beyond to find us the perfect venue. She went to many venues, took videos and uploaded them so we could get a virtual feel for them. After we decided on a venue, she even negotiated a better deal for us and saved of more than $300! Krysta was just so helpful at every step along the way. Once we selected the venue, she sent us ample vendors to select from, she mailed us samples of linens and napkins, etc. She even checked reviews for us! We rented items from her locker and were so happy to have saved to much because we used her rentals. Her inventory is crazy-huge! We used wooden doors, chandeliers, linens, place settings and bird cages. They were perfect! After all of the vendors were selected, Krysta helped us design all of the elements of our wedding to make it look like all of the pins on Pinterest! The day of went smoothly- she arrived with 2 staff members, although we thought she would have 3. In the end, she had the venue setup just as I envisioned it would be with a full hour to spare before our guests arrived. It was STUNNING! She remembered every detail! Our vendors all arrived on time and I later learned the arbor blew over just moments before we came down the isle but she was a pro- she got it back up in no time and no none but my guests saw her and her assistant scrambling to get it back up and in time so I didn't see it and freak out! LOL She was so creative, thoughtful and her staff were polite and super helpful. Every time I had a need for something, it's like she read my mind and was already there next to me with it in her hand! lol Literally, Krysta was a blessing for our destination wedding. I would highly recommend her for your destination wedding!
Premium Catering Service. was used by Karly and Jose Corona June 23,2005 for their wedding. It was an out-door affair at the Overland House in Portland Or. The ceremony and reception were held in the backyard. After the ceremony the guests were escorted to the front yard and served hors doeuvres while the crew set up the reception in the back. Guests returned to a lovely sight -white clothed tables set with flowers and candles, lights twinkling in the trees, soft music - everything Karly and Jose had dreamed of. The buffet was set up and food artfully arranged - all the dishes the bride and groom had requested and it was all delicious. The caterers were all attentive, efficient and very pleasant. Given they did not have a rehearsal for this event everything went very smoothly and was so much fun thanks to all their great work. While the bride and groom enjoyed their lovely reception and their guests the caterers cleaned up impeccably and quietly stole away. I could't be more happy that we hired Vanessa as our day-of-coordinator for our wedding. From the first meeting, Vanessa was professional and organized and also extremely interested in all of the details of my wedding. My expectation was really just for her to help me keep things organized on the day-of, but periodically throughout the entire wedding planning process she would reach out to offer recommendations and advice as needed. A couple weeks before the big day, she stepped in and took over for all my interactions with all of my vendors for me (she even called my hotel to see if I could check in early to drop off my wedding gown). This was such a huge relief, because she was able to filter the stressful conversations in addition to saving me TONS of time so I could enjoy my wedding week with friends and family. On the wedding day, Vanessa showed up early to take care of every need (including printing out my wedding vows that I forgot to print!) throughout the entire day she was everywhere she needed to be without anyone needing to ask! At one point, our shuttle bus (for pre-wedding photos) driver was lost, but he only spoke Spanish so we were having a hard time telling him where to go - the next thing I knew, Vanessa is sitting next to him giving step-by-step instructions IN SPANISH! Vanessa did a great job organizing so many aspect of the day, even at the end of the night, she organized a beautiful sparkler send-off and helped my in-laws load our personal items into the cars after we left. She even took some extra items that were left behind to her house for safe-keeping until I came home from my honeymoon. All-in-all.... Vanessa was the glue that held my wedding day together and I recommend her 110%
Callie is so professional and fun at the same time! She does everything and makes the bride feel at ease, even if thing are going the way you didn't expect them. She is also very creative and has great ideas. She gets things done!!! Anyone would be lucky to have her help plan your wedding or event.
Manny was awesome. He delivered a great and very sincere sermon for a beautiful ceremony on the beach. It is obvious that he is a guy who is passionate about peforming weddings and takes great pride, as he should, in the work he does with this. I'd recommend Manny the wedding dude to anyone!
Jessica was the best choice we made when planning our wedding. She coordinated everything from the rehearsal dinner to the events on the big day. We had four kids under 10 in the wedding and she worked with them one on one to help things run smoothly. The day of our wedding, Jessica proved her worth 100 times over. Our DJ showed up and did not have our song list! I didn't have to worry though, because Jessica had requested that I email it to her weeks prior and she still had a copy. She gave it to the DJ and I didn't have to spend the time before the ceremony trying to remember every song that my husband and I had chosen. I would recommend Jessica in a heart beat!
OUTSTANDING! That is the word that comes to mind when i think of Tammys work. We hired Tammy as a day of coordinator however, Tammy was working since the day we hired her. She would always check in with us just to make sure we were doing ok and she assisted with anything that we needed help with. She Helped us find a baker for our wedding cake and she went above and beyond making sure we had containers to pack the cake in. The day of the wedding we did not worry about one thing because Tammy handled everything. If there were any issues we did not know about them. We were running behind schedule the day of the wedding and Tammy made me feel more at ease when i started worrying. I truly can't thank Tammy enough for all of her help. My husband and I are glad we decided to go with Tammy as day of coordinator for our wedding we know that we would not have been able to enjoy our day without her help.
Nicole went above and beyond what we expected and was a wonderful day-of-wedding planner. My husband and I continue to say she was the best money we spent on any vendor! Well worth the money and service they provide!
I hired Jen McNutt-Bloom as the wedding planner for my son's wedding in Eugene this July. His new bride and he live in Hong Kong, so although they were consulted on decisions regarding their wedding, most of the wedding planning fell on my shoulders. I hired Jen last summer after she was highly recommended by the wedding coordinator at Sweet Cheeks Winery, the venue for the wedding. Jen helped me every step of the way, making recommendations for caterers, florists, DJs, photographers, etc. and letting me decide what worked with our budget. She was very generous with her time, communicating with me by phone, email, and in-person meetings, and connecting with the bride and groom by Skype and email. Her knowledge and experience in planning weddings in the Eugene area were invaluable, and her creativity, enthusiasm, and warmth were also greatly appreciated. She also was extremely helpful to me in planning a Welcome Dinner at our home. I highly recommend Jen to anyone looking for a local wedding planner. She's a winner and you can't go wrong!
Sunblossoms floral is out go-to floral designer. Shannon did our wedding in 2007 and Sunblossoms Floral has been a part of every major event in our family since then. I have recommended her for friends' weddings, each one with different taste and styles- every time, without fail, her artistry and creativity makes the event beautiful.
