Christine drove across town to meet us in our home and was very helpful in helping us train our two dogs. We hired her to help us train our puppy and she recognized some of the puppy's behavior was the result of our older dog's actions. She helped us to focus on both dogs in our training and the results have been very beneficial.

We had personal dog training in our home and it was invaluable! Christine was easy to work with and came prepare with a variety of toys, treats, and great ideas. She obviously has a love of dogs!

I would highly recommend the services of Paula's Dog Services. She was very knowledgable of positive reinforcement, rewarding, and classical conditioning. Paula took the time to really get to know me and my dog. I have a 9 month old English Bulldog (which some deem stubborn and difficult to train). Paula was very patient and excited, which helped my dog to excell in training. Paula easily explained the techniques of training for both me and my dog. She also provided handouts and books. In addition, she is very reasonably priced. I would use her again in the future, without hesitation.

Paula is an excellent teacher and trainer. She understands your dog’s needs and his behavior. She is able to help you work with your dog in his specific environment. He just turned one year old and responded quickly to this training. She taught me how to train him how to loose leash walk, come to a whistle, drop items he has a tendency to steal (shoes in particular) and “Park It” when he get to rambunctious. I enjoy the time I spend with her training my dog and would take additional classes form her.

Deedee helped me and my wife with our 1.5 year old german shepherd tremendously. He’s well behaved when he’s in “training” mode but can be a terror when he’s not focused or remotely distracted. With only four sessions, his behavior went from almost unbearable (always play biting, barking at everything, not great at walking, etc.) to the point where he’s getting compliments on his behavior. We participated in two separate (different locations) group-training sessions when he was younger but the results weren’t where we wanted them. I would highly recommend one-on-one training with Deedee because she teached us, the owners, as much -if not more- than she was able to teach our dog (it could be beneficial to do group training after an initial training with Deedee to socialize your dog/pup). I never realized how much we thought we were doing correctly (per the group training classes) that just wasn’t cutting it. He still has a ways to go but she sets a strong foundation. Overall, if you have a dog you simply aren’t seeing the results you want from training or a young puppy, call Deedee. We’ll likely be boarding our dog with her as well when we go on vacation. She’s very professional, responsive and accommodating. We both highly recommend her.

I had a great experience working with Matt! not only is he personable and easy to work with, but he is an excellent dog trainer. We were able to transform a gigantic stray shepard puppy from a total maniac into a calm, obedient buddy in 2 sessions. This is a very practical and effective method of training. If you're on the fence just go for it. You AND you dog will be much happier.

While we have not started the training yet - Matt showed up on time and brought a very well trained puppy with him to demonstrate how his dog has been trained. He also spent over an hour with us and our dog to observe the issues that we are having with our dog. We look forward to working with Matt!

Kerry is absolutely fantastic, when I first starting using her I had a golden retriever named Jake he was 8 years old and I wanted someone to go play with him while my husband and I worked. Well needless to say Jake absolutley loved her and I could tell the change in him almost immediately, he was more relaxed when we arrived home. Unfortunately Jake passed away suddenly and now I have a 11 month old Golden retriever named Reggie that Kerry also takes care of. She has been with him since he was just a tiny pup and he also loves her like crazy. She is awesome with my Reggie, she loves animals and it shows in the care my little guy gets from her. My husband and I would reccomend her to anyone, shes flexible with scheduling, very professional, trustworthy in our home, and not to mention my Reggie just adores her. Im sure your pet will feel the same way. I was recommended by a co worker to try her and to be honest I actually got a friend out of the deal too! Kerry has made my life alot easier while im working, I know my dog is getting playtime and attention so it makes for a more relaxed workday, she is such a kind person and Im actually thankful we have her!!

My dog trainer arrived at my home and took her time to become acquainted with my puppy. She was very thorough in telling me how our lessons would be and a future lesson was scheduled without a problem. She also listened to my concerns and gave valuable input.

Kerry did an amazing job with our dog Bailey. She sent updates and pictures every day we were gone. Made it easier to leave him with someone who cares so much about animals. Next time we go away we are less stressed knowing we can call her to care for him!

Where do I even begin!!! Elissa is absolutely amazing!! Our German Shepard,Duke, is now almost 1 and the most amazing pup! As you may know Shepards are full of energy and can be very stubborn. When we first got Duke he was small enough that we were able to control him and had very few problems...that quickly changed. Once Duke was bigger and stronger we started to run into some issues. Duke was very good around the house when it was just us, but the moment someone came to the house or another dog was outside he would completely ignore any commands given to him. Due to his barking and lunging towards other dogs taking him out was tough and going for a walk was a nightmare. Then we found Paw & Order!! We scheduled an appointment with Elissa and with in minutes were totally impressed. She was able to get him to walk with out pulling and also sit for a good hour while we met with her and other dogs were only a few yards away! My fiancé and I were totally shocked and knew that this was the place for us and our pup. About a week later, when Duke was 8 months old, he stayed with Elissa for the Paw & Order board and train program for about 2 and a half weeks. We missed him a ton, but let me tell you it was totally worth it! Duke definitely tested his limits when he first came home, but we are now a few months out of the training program and have a well behaved, trustworthy pup. We are able to enjoy walks instead of stressing over them and the place training that she taught him is a life saver! We are able to eat dinner in peace and have visitors with out him jumping on them. Also, he does so well off leash and is no longer barks at the neighbors dogs! Elissa not only trained Duke, but also taught us so much! On top of that she was always in contact with us during and even after the training and sent pictures/videos of our pup during training!! As tough as she was on Duke he loved her and has even gone back for boarding!! Elissa and her staff have given us the pup we've wished for. With out their help Duke would be dragging me across the front yard by now ! I highly recommend their training programs and I truly couldn't have asked for a better training experience.

For the past 8 years, I have struggled to find a trainer that could help my aggressive and anxious beagle mix. I went through three to four (and wasted a lot of money!) before I hired Paw and Order Dog Training Pgh. I had just about given up when a coworker raved about their services so I figured it was worth one last shot. It has been the best decision that I have ever made. Before Paw and Order, the previous trainers I hired didn’t know how to handle my unpredictable dog. I would only get a few sessions in before each trainer realized that their techniques weren’t helping. He became so stressed and aggressive that giving him anti-depressant drugs became my only viable option. I knew that there had to be another way than giving my dog medication for the rest of his life. I was very skeptical that Paw and Order Pgh would be any different. However, in the first few minutes of my first session, I saw results with my dog that no other trainer was ever able to accomplish. It was evident that I had found the right company for the job. My beagle was responding, wasn’t stressed, and was actually improving in behavior all in the matter of an hour. Needless to say, I was absolutely amazed. I am now three sessions in with my training and I feel like I have a brand new dog. My neighbors asked where I got my newest addition and were stunned when they realized it was the same dog all along. His progress has been incredible and to me, a blessing. I can now take my dog in public without the fear he will attack another dog. He and I can enjoy our time together because he isn’t so anxious and fearful. Everywhere I go, I am asked, “Wow, how can I get my dog to be as well-behaved as yours?” My answer is to hire Paw and Order Pgh. They can train the un-trainable!

Paw & Order Dog Training has been a huge help with my dog. When I came to them I had already been to two different trainers with no luck. My dog is dog & people reactive so he was quite a challenge. Jamie is always a call/text away. Even 2.5 years after starting training, we still attend monthly pack walks to brush up on our skills. They also board Brody for me when I travel as a typical kennel is not an option for him. We are able to do things together that I never thought would be possible for him! I cannot recommend them enough.

Splash'n Dash is a great place! As a new student, my Bernese Mountain Dog, Thor, was warmly welcomed into his new beginner agility class. Thor is a very energetic and social 2 year old pup. Because of this, he tends to get distracted very easily in his classes. His previous school and teacher did not treat him well because of this. He was often berated and made to seem like there was something wrong with him. Because of this, we left and that is when we found Splash'n Dash. How lucky we were! Thor's new teachers treat him so nicely and continue to have so much patience with him. He was welcomed into his agility class and we immediately felt right at home. He has thrived in agility over the last year and really looks forward to his weekly class. Each class session has been an enriching experience and Thor has learned so many valuable skills and behaviors - and there are still classes he has yet to try out and explore! Also, the classes are also an incredible value for the price and the teachers are so knowledgeable and friendly. If you are looking for a warm, welcoming (and fun!) learning environment for you and your dog, look no further than Splash'n Dash!

I’ve learned more at a couple of classes at Splash n Dash than in all the books I have read and 40 years of dog ownership. Agility training and Flyball have changed my dog Dougal from a frustrated and slightly destructive dog into a very happy and well behaved companion and established a special bond between us.

Based on the recommendation of my veterinarian, who knew Dayton, I contracted with him for 6 weeks of training for a 5 month old German Shepherd. He helped me understand the breed and worked with us as the pup learned basic commands. I was so pleased with my progress with the pup that I contracted for 6 more lessons and later recommended him to a friend who had just rescued a 2 year old greyhound. Dayton obviously loves and respects dogs. He has endless patience for the dog and the owner and is able to clearly explain and demonstrate the lesson being taught. He is very generous with his time and knowledge and he guarantees his training. He is prompt to respond to messages and is always available to address training problems or issues that might develop after the class is over.

Andrea is absolutely fabulous! We learned more in an hour and a half with Andrea than 6 weeks of a stock training class at a retail pet store. The one on one attention and completely customized approach was key for our 3 month old German Shepherd puppy. I watched him learn a series of commands in a matter of minutes. I feel armed with the knowledge I need to be able to successfully and effectively train my puppy. Looking forward to our next lesson!

This trainer has a very confident manner and my dog reacted well to him. I am learning a lot about dog behavior and how to read my dog's body language. He has given me great information and tips covering many different areas of my dog's reactions. I would recommend him highly to anyone serious about doing the work to strengthen their bond with their furry friend. Enjoyable too

We use Aunt Penny's Fur Heaven for our pet sitting needs and to us it is a gift from heaven! For years we could not find a place where we felt comfortable leaving our 2 beagles. They would be stressed and upset and not get the one on one attention we feel they deserved. But then we found Aunt Penny and Fur Heaven and all that changed the instant the dogs arrived! It is a relaxing, home environment and most importantly they are the only dogs in it so they receive the utmost care and attention. Penny plays games with them and provides a comforting, stress free environment. When we drop off and pick up our dogs they are completely relaxed and happy. We can finally not feel guilty or stressed when we have to leave them. Plus Aunt Penny keeps in touch with us via pictures, texts, and videos showing what a great time the dogs are having. Penny is VERY professional and we always learn something every visit that can help our dogs at home as well. I have also attended a few of Aunt Penny's classes and they are extremely well done. You learn A LOT about dogs and dog behavior that is extremely helpful! I highly recommend all of Aunt Penny's services.

WOW! Not only do they let your dog out for bathroom breaks, they play, train, tummy rubs, etc. Pooper scoop, take in trash cans and packages taken in are all part of the service. You get a message and sometimes a photo to let you know all is well. Mention Aunt Penny and our dog's tail will wag.
