I have been training with Denice for about 4 weeks, 3 times a week. Although I have been training for many years, I immediately noticed a change in my body. I reviewed with her the areas I would like to concentrate on and she would come each time with a prepared, written, clear workout which targets the areas I mentioned. She is NEVER late, she NEVER cancels and she is always prepared. She doesn't use her mobile at all during our sessions. She is attentive, always smiling and upbeat. I recommend her highly to anyone wanting to achieve any fitness goals.
Jen has been a lifesaver! She really took the time to understand what I was looking for, my trouble areas, and taking any limitations into account. For every training session, she always has one of my favorite playlists on and is ready to go with a unique workout. She motivates me and helps me keep pushing myself when I don't think I can keep going. I also travel a lot for work, and Jen is great at giving me "vacation" workouts and checking up on my progress between sessions. I highly recommend Jen, you won't regret it!
I'm a healthy, active 50+ year old male that has been into physical fitness/nutrition for most of my adult life. Over the last few years I had been thinking of hiring a personal trainer, to up my fitness game. I had spoken to a few but didn't hire anyone because the chemistry seemed off. Recently, I discovered Performance Fitness Training, went in for a consultation and liked their ideology. They were thorough in the questions they asked in order to understand my goals and were straight forward with the knowledge/help they would provide and the discipline/responsibility I would need to have in order to reach those goals (i.e. no outlandish promises). I've had a few workouts with a very knowledgeable PFT personal trainer named "Kyle." This young man is very knowledgeable, motivating and easy to talk with. I have learned something new each workout and leave looking forward to the next one. PFT is exactly what I've been looking for, and as of this writing, I am very pleased and excited about finding them.
Chris is extremely passionate about what he does and it transforms in to the awesome energy he brings forth while training his clients. He is extremely personable and goes above and beyond to accommodate schedules. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND... A true blessing in disguise!!!
I have been working out with Kirk for more than 12 years. I'm 70, and still capable of doing challenging hikes, thanks to Kirk. I cannot recommend him highly enough to anyone who wants to get in shape, or maintain the shape they're in as they age. In addition, Kirk is one of the nicest people I know, and always ready to help me even outside of our training sessions.
Have been working out with Kara for two weeks now. I am not a self motivator and Kara helps me stay motivated. Also, I have several health issues that have to be paid attention to while working out and Kara is very attentive to that and makes sure the workout stays within the limits of those issues while still managing to push me and my body to be our best and get the most from each and every workout. Kara not only works with you for training but also helps you understand your nutrition and follows up with her suggestions to see if they were helpful. One other thing I was impressed with is after each workout, while I am finishing stretching and getting my things together to leave, Kara cleans all the equipment and wipes the floor mats down too. SO happy that I am not sharing dirt and sweat with other clients. Her workout room is clean. That is a big plus.
I am going on my 2nd month of working with Edwin and he is an absolute motivation and inspiration not only in the areas of personal training but also with personal and career goals. He values what he does as a personal trainer and has been readily available to answer any of my nutritional questions or concerns by giving alternative meal options and exercise homework. I've been training 1:1 with Matt for a couple of months, and I couldn't recommend him highly enough. He helped me form fitness goals within our first two sessions and is patient and encouraging but also pushes me and holds me accountable. He clearly knows his stuff and is very attentive to form so as to avoid injuries. I meet with him weekly, but he's also available to advise and support me outside of our scheduled sessions. Very knowledgeable and experienced trainer!
I have been working with Bill since June 2015 (about six months) and have seen huge changes in a short amount of time. Bill has helped me shift from eating six small meals per day (who has time for that?!) to intermittent fasting with four meals per day. What a remarkable change! Not only is it easier to plan fewer meals but I also enjoy them more because they aren’t so tiny and mentally taxing! With Bill’s help and the intermittent fasting mindset I have been able to slim down 20lbs. I was stuck in a rut when I first met with Bill so seeing and feeling this change has been fantastic physically and mentally! Another area Bill helped me with was reducing my training and time spent in the gym—LESS time in the gym?—sounds crazy, right?! Not so! Bill steered me towards more meaningful workouts and elimination of overtraining. I was very guilty of overtraining—more is better? Wrong! Bill’s method is simple: 1. Have a plan; 2. 30 minutes to execute the plan; and 3. If you can’t get it done in 30 minutes you’re doing it wrong. It’s wonderful not to spend two hours in the gym every morning wearing myself out overtraining and not seeing results. The lifting/cardio regimen Bill taught me has worked wonders on my body. My back has toned even more, my waste/hips are smaller (!), and my strength is at an all time high. Seeing the physical changes I’m able to achieve with Bill’s guidance has improved my confidence and mental health, as well. Bill knows this business! He makes certain you are doing the best exercises for you and doing them with the correct form for best results! His fitness knowledge, personal experience, and guidance are an asset. I've been training with Kelly at Central Penn Health for over 20 years. She's the most dedicated, inspiring and FUN coach to work with. She's been with me thru wellness and also thru recovery from various surgeries. I have absolute faith and trust in her and I know I am at my best self because of her.
I began working out with Carrie A Groff over 6 months ago. We began with warmups, weight training, stationary lunges, ab crunches, and cool down stretches. What impressed me about Carrie is that she did a complete health assessment prior to creating my work-out & created exercises that would not affect my RA inflammation. We now do walking work-outs stopping at benches along the way not to rest but to do squats, push-ups and leg lifts. If you want a Personal Trainer who really cares about you and your health then Carrie is the one!
Beth is a terrific trainer! I am very pleased with how she helped me prepare for my Mt. Kilimanjaro climb. She gained an understanding of the climb profile and trekking demands, and then created a training plan to suit my schedule. My plan included endurance, interval, and strength training. She is an expert in all three of these areas. Additionally, Beth advised me on hydration and nutrition strategies, both in general and for the climb specifically. She was always enthusiastic, communicative, and prompt. My positive trekking experience was largely due to Beth's efforts. Her dedication to client's success is genuine. She'll always work hard to help individuals reach their goals!
I've been training with Marshall for a few weeks now and am already very happy with the personal training and nutrition plan he has provided. First off, you will not find a better trainer for the money than Marshall in the greater Baltimore area. His prices are about half of what I paid at a boutique personal training studio in Baltimore City and half or more than other quotes I received. Secondly, the training he has provided has pushed me like no other trainer has pushed me before. His detailed workout routines and cardio plans have me seeing results already. He has also provided me with a detailed and easy-to-follow meal plan at no additional charge. If you are looking to get into shape, or just looking to get into better shape, I highly recommend Marshall without hesitation.
Jon is a great motivational and knowledgeable trainer. He has in depth knowledge of kinesiology that gives him a real edge over other trainers. He knows exactly which exercises focus on which muscle groups and how much a particular muscle group can be pushed for each individual to avoid injury. In my experiences with Jon he has always been a focused professional while still building a personal relationship with me that has been motivational and encouraging. He has also given me some excellent nutritional tips. I would recommend Jon to anyone looking to get serious about an effective training program.
