I'm very pleased. Repaired flagstone landing, stone step, concrete walkway and stone wall pointing. Service was prompt, professional and reasonable price. Looks great!
So glad I went with DE Bailey Construction to fix the brick walkway and steps of my rental property. I received a prompt quote after posting the project, and the repairs were handled just as quickly. I appreciate the service as I was concerned about the tenants leaving and entering. I will definitely contact them again should I need more mason work, or anything similar. Before hiring I checked the reviews on here, and they helped me make my final decision. I hope this helps anyone that may be a nervous Nellie like me-they did right by me!
Hired Geno and his crew to do some exterior brick repair. I'm extremely satisfied with his work and results. He scheduled the work the day after I contacted him, completed the work in a timely manner, exactly as quoted and very professional. Clean up after completion was excellent. I definitely recommend and would hire again.
I am so pleased with the brick pointing of the front steps to my home entrance. The mortar was in bad shape and everything looks like a new front entrance now. The Kelly brothers are gentleman and craftsmen. They included the repair/rebuild of two stone walls and the closing of a crack in the driveway, at no additional cost. What makes it even better is that the cost was $1000 less then other bids, for the same work. I highly recommend this company. They are third generation masons and can be proud of their great work and lineage. Thank you, guys.
Victor repointed the brick on my front stoop and replaced one limestone step. Excellent work and showed up on time. Very professional.
We highly recommend Bill Stickles. He did brick repointing for our whole house and foundation wall repair. He was prompt, true to his word, and reasonably priced. He kept his appointments and showed up when he said he would. Many contractors we called did not show up and didn't bother to call to tell us they weren't coming. Mr. Stickles did an excellent job for us in a timely manner. Highly recommend.
My family has recently completed working with Tasos, of Ariston Masonry, on two very different kinds of masonry jobs: refilling/stuccoing a lot of cracked, damaged stonework on the exterior of our old home, and re-stabilizing old structural support columns in our basement, which had worn thin, due to water damage. In both cases, we could not have been more pleased with the work performed. Tasos is clearly an ‘old school master’ craftsman, a real perfectionist, who takes pride in every aspect of his work. As an example, it was Tasos who insisted on making an extra trip out to our house, a long distance on an extremely sweltering day, to perfectly match the color of the stucco he would use on our stone. This is not something we would ever have thought of if he hadn’t suggested it. We figured stucco is stucco, right? Now we see what a huge difference it makes in the uniformity of the stone. This is just one of many examples of his thoughtfulness in performing his work. He even alerted us to any loud noise that might take place, such as ‘jackhammering’ around the basement columns, when he would need to clean out the damaged bases. He told us 2 days before he was going to perform that work, to be sure he wouldn’t interrupt anything we might have scheduled at the house for that day. Quite aside from the consideration Tasos shows for the client’s needs, his work is flawless. The stucco was replaced, and the basement columns were cleaned out and reinforced with painted concrete rims, perfectly. This tells you about the great work and work ethic of Tasos. We would be remiss, however, if we failed to mention what an extreme pleasure it was to work with ‘the woman behind the man,’ Rita. This is Tasos’ wife, who is in charge of scheduling the jobs for the company. She could not be nicer or more accommodating. She was wonderful to communicate with and was accessible by phone and email, every step of the way. Rita accompanied Tasos on the visits to assess the job and the stucco, so we also had the good fortune to meet this lovely woman. Both Tasos and Rita are simply THE BEST, and we cannot recommend this company highly enough! My family looks forward to using Ariston again, for all of our masonry needs in the future.
Paul and his team are very knowledgable and apply that to their skill with excellent masonry work. I especially liked the little touches that finished my project a front steps portico into the yard and the wrought iron stair rail that attached to the flagstone on the steps. The brick work and sealing was done with extra fine quality. I highly recommend. Cinda
The contractor was contracted to build a concrete and brick side porch including a wooden handrail. The project was started on time as promised and completed on time. The finished product was better than expected and represented expert craftsmanship and quality products used. We were very satisfied and will use LM again.
I had my brick/slate front step repaired by Brett Schaffer Concrete & he did an excellent job. He was prompt in his response time & in giving me an accurate quote from the photos I showed him. He was able to complete the project within a week & worked efficiently on site. He gave a fair quote & offered the best price around. I would certainly hire Brett again for any concrete/masonry work.
Jim Grubb knows his stuff. Several years ago, he and I met while he was doing some work in my neighborhood. My wife had been "hinting" that she wanted stone work around our new pool to complete "the look" (eye roll). I reluctantly went over to ask him a few questions, and I (wrongly) anticipated he was probably going to try to oversell himself, and quote me unfairly. At the time, I didn't think the conversation was going to lead to much more than me procrastinating this decision for even longer. He gave me a ton of helpful information about the process. I asked what'd it entail, how long he'd think it would take, and what it'd cost me. He didn't try to sell me or give me an astronomical price. He answered every question objectively. I ended up hiring him that day. Don't tell my wife I said this, but she was definitely right about the stone. Since then, Jim has done many other projects for my family, and I've also referred him onward. He also put the brick front on my sister's house- it looks fantastic. I'm happy to have done business with him. Jim is a great guy.
Anthony did brick work on our home renovation project. He is really very good. He matched our 50 year old brick exactly and did a lot of little extras that made the job outstanding.
