Lisa is awesome! She is super fun and professional and made sure all of our wedding guests had a great time in the photo booth with tons of different props and poses to choose from! As the bride, I didn't get to spend a lot of time in the booth but when I finally made it in there, I was really impressed with the booth set up and the quality of the photos. She also offers a scrap book which the guests glue a copy of their picture in the book and write a message. I highly recommend using Every Picture Tells a Story for any event and adding on that scrap book to whatever package you choose. Thanks again Lisa for playing a large and special part of our carnival themed wedding!!

I stumbled upon Boston Event Diva's while planning my wedding and I can honestly say that hiring Jen was the best and easiest decision I made throughout the planning process. She was so easy to work with, incredibly accommodating and made all of my visions & dreams come to life. While I only used her as my florist, I urge anyone needing a wedding day coordinator to hire Jen as well. The amount of time and effort that she put into the bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and all the ceremony & reception arrangements leads me to believe that she puts her entire heart into her work... and you in return will have the most beautiful wedding from start to finish. I can not say enough great things about Boston Event Diva's. Plus, one week after my wedding I still have a beautiful and healthy hydrangea centerpiece sitting on the island in my kitchen still looking as beautiful as they did on the day of my wedding!

I met with Jen at the Pawtucket Public Library on Wednesday June 22, 2015 and she was outstanding. Jen was very nice, listened to my needs, wants, and concerns. She made the stress of planning a wedding go away, she made me feel comfortable and like I could do this. I will be using her services for my engagement photos and as a wedding planner. I am very pleased with her so far I only had one meeting with her but so far it has been wonderful.

Skylight Entertainment provided the dj service for my wedding at the Salem Hawthorne Hotel, in Salem MA this June. We booked Skylight about a week before our wedding and it was surprising how well they managed to put everything together. They did my ceremony and reception which was great. I was happy that they arrived early to set up, the venue complimented them as well. Everyone kept complimenting me on how great the music was and how nice the wedding lighting were(pink). People did not even know our names could be projected on the floor like that! Brad did a great job on our slideshow, we got him the photos last minute, a day and a half before our wedding but you would never notice! Our guests kept complimenting on that as well! All in all the service was great, we got everything we were looking for, and then some. I don't think that Skylight could have done anything better because they were on point with all that they provided. I can not thank Skylight Entertainment enough for making my wedding the special day it was because they were an essential part of my big day!

I can't say enough good things about Marty Malone. My husband and I had our wedding at the Historic Village Hall in Framingham, MA. The hall was beautiful, but did not include any 'frills' other than the tables. We needed to find a caterer that could not only feed our 150 guests, but also bring in alcohol, provide bartenders and insurance, and help to show the guests where and when to eat. We also had to do it on a very tight budget. Marty got back to me right away on Thumbtack, and answered what seemed like hundreds of questions from me in a timely and patient manner. He was so helpful with all of our needs, and met every single one of them with no stress or hassle. We were able to customize our meal choices, and make changes when needed. He provided an incredible ice cream sundae bar as well as gluten free options when asked about it at the last minute. On the day of the wedding, I saw that Marty had brought lots of friendly staff with him, and all were dressed nicely and smiling. They catered to our guests and made sure everyone was fed and happy. The cleanup was quick and easy. I would highly recommend Marty for any of your catering needs!

Working with Pearl and team was amazing. From the first meeting with her I knew she was the perfect partner. And that she was. She was a great partner throughout the planning process helping to make sure every part of the day was thought through and would allow for seamless execution on the day of. I was able to trust her and knew that my vision for the day would be brought to life, allowing me to not have to worry or stress leading up to the wedding. Heather was outstanding! My best friend had used her services at her wedding and Heather did such a great job that I knew I just had to have her for my wedding reception! Heather spoke to all my vendors and made sure everything I needed was taken care of for the big day. My biggest fear was the set-up of favor bags, placement cards, guestbook, etc. because I needed my caterers to set-up other aspects of our wedding. Heather put all my fears to rest! I highly recommend hiring Heather Chaput as your wedding day of coordinator. Your wedding day will be just perfect!

Kelly did the day of coordination for my wedding, and all the pre-work to prepare for the day. She helped find additional staff, suggest vendors, and essentially anything I asked of her. Kelly was truly amazing and saved my wedding in so many ways! From the moment I hired Kelly, she gave me peace of mind and assurance that everything will be perfect. There is a lot of effort and coordination that goes into making a wedding, Kelly was right there with me along the way. As somebody who has orchestrated many events, she gave thoughtful suggestions to ensure my event was planned perfectly. She was always in contact, answered all my emails promptly, and calmed every worry and question I had prior to my wedding. She went over my plan and wishes in great detail to ensure she knew exactly what I wanted and how I wanted everything. The day of she was a wedding saver. I got everything I planned executed as requested and the event ran without any issues (at least none I was award of), Kelly did that great of a job. I spent my wedding day dancing, enjoying the wedding I dreamed of, and visiting my family and friends, while Kelly worked extremely hard to ensure everything went as planned. She did an outstanding job and my wedding day was beyond my expectations. Thank you Kelly for everything that you did and all the things I don't know about, you were truly one of the best decisions I made during my wedding planning!

Our wedding reception was lovely thanks to David! We heard all the songs we asked for and none of the ones we didn't! David has a wonderful sense of humor, and kept us laughing the whole evening. There was a mix up with the exact venue, and David set up in a different building and he was a great sport about the whole thing. We were glad to have him, would recommend his services and call on him again for our DJ needs!

We hired Adam/Advanced Production and Design for design/decorating/lighting for our daughter's outdoor tent wedding. I wanted a stately, high end look that was affordable. I presented pictures with my wish list and was looking for direction that would accomplish the look I was going for. Adam's professionalism and experience was apparent from our first correspondence. He guided me towards a design that was absolutely perfect for the look that I wanted to achieve. After receiving the proposal and deciding on the final design I had a 100% confidence that I had the right production company. The look was exactly what I wanted and more. It was the icing on the cake and in between!!! Not only was it absolutely beautiful but the ambiance he created set an amazing mood that was beyond my vision. My fiancee and I had one simple request to keep our wedding planning and wedding day stress free. Amanda has more than exceeded our expectations. She saved us a lot of money, providing props, design recommendations, averted so many foreseeable crises months before the wedding started. She was flexible with my family's needs, and collaborated with my in-laws in wedding preparations. She ended every call with "Let me know if you can think of anything else you need..." She missed our rehearsal dinner after our rather awful florist messed up our flowers last minute. Amanda was almost like a part of our family, honoring both my needs and my family's, finding peaceful solutions where she could. The wedding turned was like a fairytale. Danielle was perfect!! She made us a custom cake topper (bride, groom and two dogs) it was perfect!! In the initial shipping one of the dogs broke so I emailed her. She did not hesitate to make us top priority (at that point the wedding was only like two weeks away!) She sent us out another one and it was perfect!! She was very accurate to the photos we sent. One of our dogs has passed since then and she did such a great job of capturing the look of our pups that we will permanently place her figurine on our mantle in memory!     Five stars is selling Theresa short- we’d need about nine stars to truly convey what she did for us. Hiring her was the Single Best Decision we made about anything having to do with our wedding. What makes Theresa a nine-star event planner goes far beyond being great at her job, but it bears mentioning that her skills as a planner are fantastic. She helped us make a plan we liked, kept us on schedule, and it cost exactly what she said it would. But she went above and beyond the planning to become our ally, counselor and forceful advocate in an unfamiliar process. Our typical conversation went like this: Me: I am worried about [thing that I thought was a problem]. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of three ways to fix the problem] Me: I think that [overpriced wedding thing] costs too much. Theresa: Don’t worry. [List of two cheaper options, plus one way to avoid the expense altogether]. Me: Can you send me [thing we won’t need to worry about for three months] Theresa: Don’t worry. I will send it to you when you need to take care of it. …and so on. She was always calm, and she was always reassuring- and she was always right. We owe her a huge debt of gratitude for a smooth and wonderful wedding day.

      If you are looking for a kind, hardworking, wildly organized, perfectionist with great ideas and someone who will turn your dreams into reality, then you have come to the right place! Devyn of Emerald Events is all of that and more. From the very first day I reached out to Devyn she was nothing short of poised and professional. Initially I planned to only utilize Emerald Events’ Day of Services, however, after my planning got well underway I realized there was no way I could pull off the perfect day without more of Devyn's assistance. Without hesitation she stepped up to the plate, organizing a vendor by vendor budget, full wedding weekend itinerary and also began reaching out to each of my vendors by email, phone and written letters (on professional letterhead to boot)! I was working with a budget and let Devyn know that from the start. She was very willing to work within my budget and even found vendors, such as a videographer, I never believed I would be able to afford. My particular venue was merely a piece of land, so as you can expect with a blank slate it can be fun, but a bit overwhelming. I provided every ounce of detail down to the forks! I am a perfectionist myself and had a vision of my wedding for years and I will admit I was afraid I would never be able to have someone else pull off what I thought was only in my head, but boy was I wrong. Devyn captured every last detail and then some. We met numerous times all of which she came prepared and organized. Being busy and at times disorganized I was constantly sending Devyn one off emails with items that would pop into my mind, but never did she seem the slightest bit bothered and always promptly responded. A month prior to my wedding she even went as far as scheduling time to come over to my house to look at all of the small details, label each and put together last minute details. But above all else, my wedding weekend was where she truly shined. My wedding was on Cape Cod in the middle of an extremely hot August. Devyn and her assistant came down for the entire weekend to make sure everything moved smoothly and according to plan. Both presented themselves professionally dressed and accessorized with iPads! When they first arrived they came by the house we had rented to check in and make sure everything was running smoothly, but at the same time were sure to never be a bother. They helped with everything from tip distribution, to helping collect last minute items my family and friends had forgot in the craziness of the weekend. On the day of my wedding it was 96 degrees and extremely humid and Devyn and her assistant still never missed a single beat. Numerous people, still 2 months later, have come to me to complement their professionalism and all around amazing work. Although this review may be lengthy, I know I am forgetting so many more details Emerald Events did to make sure my wedding was one for the books. Last but not least, not only is Emerald Events all around the best Cape Cod and Newport have to offer, they are affordable and will provide you with electronic billing!! The best decision you can make is to hire Emerald Events as your wedding planner!! You will never regret this decision!! Thank you Devyn, for making my wedding nothing short of the most beautiful and by far BEST DAY EVER!! Xoxoxox
