Kate is one of my most favorite yoga teachers!!! She has such a calming presence and is always interested in what your body needs to best tailor her classes so you can leave feeling more balanced, limber and fit. I love her hands on adjustments to help give you the best stretch and feeling in each pose and her head and shoulder massage in savasana is the best!! Highly recommend her classes.

I have been in Catey's group classes and hired her for private as well. I am fully relaxed, and fully myself in Catey's totally nonjudgmental presence. She puts caring thought into her sequences for each style class that she leads. I always appreciate her relevant accompanying playlist. Her narcotic voice both lulls me and grounds me. When I am in her class, I feel she has my back, sometimes, literally, lol...

    About

I have a total focus on benefits and managing all risks. Yoga is more than a workout; it's a lifestyle. It works.

    About

My classes focus on working to be present, both emotionally and physically. My classes are influenced by traditional hatha practice that incorporates invitational language and options for modifications and personal choice. Through an intentionally and thoughtfully sequenced class, I work to guide students to link body and breath to clear the mind while elongating, strengthening, and opening the physical body. One of my favorite parts about teaching is to help students as their practice evolves. There is always room to take a pose to the next level or to take a step back and explore the foundation of a pose. I hope to create an environment that offers support, safety, and an invitation to create self-compassion. I teach hatha, vinyasa, yin, restoratives, and therapeutics for all levels.

    About

Yoga to the Tenth is a revolutionary practice of one-on-one, private, partner-assisted yoga for maximizing fitness capability and well-being, with particular emphasis on fixing musculoskeletal conditions that cause chronic pain. With a targeted series of yoga stretches, Linda's sessions directly identify and impact the prime causes in the body that create pain and specific chronic conditions such as: • Sciatica • Muscle spasms • Lower/upper back pain • Thoracic outlet syndrome • Neck pain • TMJ • Carpal tunnel and more Most clients experience immediate relief from pain and can, over the course of 4-6 sessions and depending on the severity of the underlying condition, fundamentally change the way their body works and prevent the problem from reoccurring. Partner-assisted yoga is also recommended for people who want to improve their sport performance, general level of physicality, and live with greater flexibility and well-being. Linda intensively studied resistance stretching with renowned health and fitness innovator, Bob Cooley, author of the book The Genius of Flexibility. Bob Cooley is also known for his fitness training work with Olympic gold medalists, Dara Torres, Charles Austin and Eric Flaim. Sessions are specially designed to each individual's goals and needs.

    About

I have been practicing yoga for almost 10 years and completed my 200-hour teacher training in the YogaWorks program (which is based on the precision of the Iyengar system and the flow of the Ashtanga method). I recently completed a workshop retreat dealing specifically with yoga for back care, with a special emphasis on scoliosis and other spinal issues. Yoga has also proven to be an invaluable addition to my other athletic pursuits, including several triathlons and half marathons. I enjoy working with clients of all ages and abilities and look forward to developing personalized yoga sessions depending on the students' needs. I recently completed a continuing education course dealing specifically with hands-on adjustments and offer hands-on modifications throughout private yoga sessions. I believe that when we practice awareness, mindfulness, and compassion during a yoga class, these qualities eventually become incorporated into our everyday lives. Ultimately, I see the greater purpose of yoga is to be more flexible, aware, and loving to both ourselves and others. I continue to be inspired by the ways in which both the physical practice and the philosophy of yoga positively affect my life, and I hope that I can inspire others to find joy and self-awareness through their own practice.

    About

I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on to others the profound benefits of a regular yoga practice. I teach alignment-based vinyasa yoga, with an emphasis on building strength, increasing flexibility and tuning the mind. The addition of yogic breath work (pranayama) and meditation quiets the mind and invites deep healing and release.

    About

I teach yoga classes, private lessons, and conduct therapeutic yoga groups. I am a yoga teacher and a licensed psychotherapist. I have a specific curriculum for therapeutic yoga groups but can also conduct one-time workshops with a focus on depression, anxiety, or trauma. I enjoy bringing the therapeutic and healing elements of yoga to people who may not already be familiar with yoga but also have the capacity to create very challenging and strength-building classes and private sessions if desired. I love yoga and want the people I teach to love it too.

    About

Yoga is offered for all ages, levels, lifestyles and bodies! Custom and unique yoga practices tailored to the needs of individual students. With a strong focus on alignment and hands-on adjustments, Lauren creates fresh and exciting sequences that will invigorate the spirit. Borrowing elements from Tai Chi, Budokon, Pilates and various yogic disciplines, Lauren can accommodate any level of athleticism, strength and flexibility. Anyone can practice yoga; all that is required is to step on the mat and open the mind. Class styles include: * Hatha Yoga This is a slower and more traditional approach. Postures are sustained while the focus remains on alignment and breath. This is a great start for beginners and yet still challenging for veteran yogins who want to improve postural alignment. * Power Yoga It is fantastic for building strength, focus and balance. With more time spent on the standing series, students will be challenged both physically and mentally as the core gets a serious workout with Power Yoga. * Vinyasa Flow For any level, Vinyasa flow classes are dynamic and movement oriented. It includes dance from one Asana to another and move with the breath. * Yogalates This is a yoga and Pilates fusion that is great for increasing core strength and toning glutes and thighs. Classes usually start with a standing series of yoga postures and continue with Pilates style floor work. * Restorative Yoga It is a gentle practice perfect for anyone yearning to slow down and relax. Restorative yoga is also highly beneficial for those recovering from injury or suffering from chronic pain. The majority of the practice is done in a supine position with the body supported by props such as blocks, bolsters and blankets. * Prenatal Yoga It helps you connect with your baby, continue to strengthen the body and relax the mind. Prenatal classes are meant to help ease anxiety about delivery, relieve tension in the body, and help mom and baby bond. Prenatal yoga is suited for any level and all trimesters. * Yoga for Hockey players Designed specifically for men who play hockey, Lauren’s yoga for hockey players series targets tightness that results from the love of the game. This series will increase balance, focus, stamina and stability both on the mat and on the ice. Specific attention is given to shoulders, hips and groins, increasing range of movement and strength in these areas, and making them less prone to injury. * Corporate Yoga
