Cheryl is an exceptional teacher who loves what she does. Her classes are always interesting, varied, and paced so students get results. I have had many yoga teachers. By far, Cheryl is the best trainer and educator I have had. She takes the time to explain what the breath and forms do for the body and why we should do them not just how. She is attentive to the wide range of strengths and challenges of each student and protects us from ourselves, reminding us not to push for 100% of each pose. When I started with Cheryl two years ago, I had a very bad back and very tight muscles. My strength, flexibility, and balance are vastly improved. I am very loyal to her classes because they are the reason for my improved well-being.

I have been having lessons with Kathryn for about a month now and I greatly enjoy the experience. I went into it not knowing anything about Yoga, and my knowledge has grown a lot. I thought I would only want one or two private lessons and then occasional lessons, but I look forward to them every single week now! I have been challenged in such a rewarding way and have increased my knowledge in the basic foundation of yoga! Totally recommend!

Being part of the "not-so-young" and "new-to-yoga" club, I find Cate's teaching style to be extremely helpful, encouraging, supportive and down-to-earth. Cate focuses on positive messages and practicing safely within your own physical limitations by modifying and adjusting poses to your needs. Jen led a yoga class at my bachelorette party and on the morning of my wedding. There were some first time yogis in the group, but Jen made them feel at ease. She speaks with a calm and confident voice and uses humor during difficult poses. She also offers helpful adjustments and feel-good massage/stretching during shavasana. Jen is very creative and puts together fun playlists for different classes such as animal themed songs for an Animal Rescue League event and 90s love songs for my bachelorette). I highly recommend you attend one of her classes or ask her to teach private yoga classes for special events. Thank you, Jen!

Transform your mind, body and spirit. Karen Kaplan, LMHC, NCC, ATR, RYT-500 began her career as a psychotherapist, earning degrees in psychology and expressive therapies and eventually in myofascial release, yoga, and integrative therapies with senior Iyengar teacher and physical therapist, Julie Gudmestad, David Vendetti and Richmond Dixon. Karen teaches and works with people of all ages. She has extensive experience teaching in studios and corporate settings, as well as working with individuals and groups who have physical injuries, joint pain, disabilities, Parkinson’s disease, MS and auto immune diseases. In class, Karen draws from numerous traditions of yoga, to help build core strength, to discover the power of the breath, and to bring the body into its proper alignment through poses using props and hands-on instruction. She has found yoga to be the most profound in its capability to transform the body, as well as the spirit. Practicing yoga brings a deeper knowledge of the self and an acknowledgement of how we deal with others and the world around us. There are no expectations and no requirements, only the desire to be present. Come and discover your own flexibility and strength; sign up and learn how yoga can benefit you.

I am grateful for the opportunity to pass on to others the profound benefits of a regular yoga practice.
