She was very knowledgable and kind. She not only tuned our piano, but fixed some of the things that were wrong with it. Our piano sounds great! I'd recommend her to anyone needing work done on their piano.
We've just started piano lessons with Mary and are very pleased. She's teaching both my son and my husband and both enjoy working with her as she is friendly, reliable and responsive.
Excellent engaging service.
Music is internalized before it is played on the keys. This is accomplished through movement to acquire rhythm, singing/chanting, score studying. In other words, we learn music from the inside out rather than the outside in.
Although I have never compared myself with another instructor, my reputation of 32 years speaks for itself. I am unique in doing what ever method it takes for my students to "get it." Out of multiple hundreds of students, I have never given up on one.

I began teaching during my college career and have a few years of experience, as well as a B.A. in piano from North Greenville University. I have worked with a variety of ages and experience levels and teach using the classical model. This means I also incorporate music theory and proper technique. I love my students and try to the best of my ability to cater each lesson to their individual needs. Please message me if you have any questions!

I am teaching the basics of piano and voice, and I'm loving it! Your child will be my top priority. He or she will learn, grow, and succeed!
I teach guitar, bass, voice, banjo, mandolin, ukulele and harmonica. I teach ear trading, theory, reading, tab, songs, and how to play with others. I teach all ages and levels. I have 8- and 85-year-old beginners and teach other teachers at other music stores. I have won countless awards for my playing and teaching.
I play a multitude of instruments. I can teach music theory and I strive for students to learn it too.
It is exciting to hear my students playing a piece of music.
Lessons are geared toward the student's needs/wants. Whether it's learning one favorite song, reading music or longer-term goals, I can help you get there. You will benefit my college degree in piano pedagogy and years of experience, including some special needs students. The first lesson is always free and the monthly rate is very affordable.
I teach beginner to mid-advanced piano and voice students in the basic mechanics of their chosen field with lessons in music, theory, and performance. I have more than 16 years of experience in teaching and have worked with both individuals and groups in areas that range from individual instruction to competition, recitals, concerts, and full scale musicals. I have been a region coordinator for GISA (Georgia Independent School Association) for two years, overseeing One Act Play competitions, as well as literary events. Many of my students won in region competitions and went on to place or even win in state competitions. I have worked with K4 through 12th grade students the past six years on musical education, musical performance, chorale singing, concert performance, full-scale musicals, and individual coaching. I love working with young people and am as excited about their musical discoveries as they are. I believe learning music and appreciating it in all its forms adds a richness and depth to our character, as well as aiding in other educational pursuits. Quite simply, I love, love music!
Q: Will we be required to sign a contract and commit to a long period of instruction. A: No, we work on a month-to-month basis. We do not have enrollment fees. Our tuition rates vary based on the class but as a non-profit organization, they are modest and less than half price.
A music theory-based approach to beginning and intermediate flute instruction taught by a senior music education major. My rates are comparatively low, and band students can feel comfortable working with someone close to their age. If transportation is an issue, home visits are possible. Don't just learn how to play songs; learn how to play and understand music. Regular tutoring for music theory is also available.
I have 2 Degrees in Music Education. I was a school teacher for 23 years. I have taught private music lessons since I was 16 years old.
I teach piano. I have been playing for 34 years. I like sharing my own techniques and show how to read music. Music is fun once you learn how to play. I have also recorded three albums. I have my own studio now at my home. With music, timing is everything. Once students learn how to get the timing down, they can have the enjoyment of playing with others. I teach how to do that. I am very good at what I do.
