My experience at Nu Sounds Music Studio has been awesome. I have been taking lessons with Fred for about year and a half and he has taken my vocal abilities to a whole new level.

I was one of Wes’ first students many years ago and still to this day consider him a friend as well as a mentor. He always went above and beyond for me not only as a drum student, but also as student of music period. He encouraged me to be open to different styles of music and to really get out in the real world to see what it takes to be a working musician and how it pays to be equipped to play different styles and be a professional that works well with other musicians. I think it’s safe to say Wes help set me on a path that made me the musician I am today by teaching me the skills and sharing the knowledge it takes to be a successful working musician.

I was searching for a guitar teacher with specific qualifications and I found him through Reverb Lessons. The website is easy to use and has many functional tools to assist the learning experience. The site professionals are very helpful and attentive to questions and concerns. Without its help I would still be searching for a guitar teacher or overpaying for one that is not ideal. Thank you Reverb lessons!

I have over 22 years of experience. I studied with Dave Weckl, Joe Bonadio and Shawn Pelton. I have recorded and toured with several artists such as Edwin McCain, Johnny Winters, Foreigner and many more. I teach all styles and levels. I have helped many of my past students go onto a career in the music industry and pursue music in colleges across the country.

I am teaching in-home grades seven to 12 and music students (instrumental -- strings, winds, and percussion and vocal) who plan to continue music studies in college, who will be required to learn piano. I provide basics of piano with some music theory. I have possible coaching for music theory AP exams.

I offer music theory, vocal, and drum lessons. It is available for all students grades 8th through adult. Please call for information.

I provide drumming instruction to beginning, intermediate and advanced drummers. My drumming background is in the Scottish idiom, and I am the drum sergeant for the Charleston Police Pipes and Drums. As the drum sergeant, I lead the drum corps from Grade 4 to Grade 2 and became the highest-ranking band in the southeast. I also compete as a soloist in the Grade 1 level since 2006 and have instructed at the North American Academy for Piping and Drumming in 2011.

Encore Music has instructors who offer percussion lessons for beginner and intermediate musicians. They also do musical instrument repair jobs.
