Short Review: A+ Awesome, Wedding Season Has Been Great
I've lost 27 pounds since I began working out with Candice, and even though my initial goal coming into this was weight loss, no bridesmaid dress size or number on a scale compares to how great I physically feel. I'm stronger and healthier and less stressed now than I've been in the majority of my adult life, and it's a direct result of Candice's kickass workouts, nutritional guidance, and unwavering enthusiasm. The awesomeness of my experience cannot be overstated. 10/10 would recommend.
Long Review: All the Praise GET READY
I'd like to emphasize first how knowledgeable and current Candice is on all facets of fitness styles, nutrition, and wellness. The breadth of her expertise is substantiated and well-informed and 100% a defining factor in the results I've seen. I continuously trust (and am in awe of, honestly) her insight, and I have no doubt the rest of her clients would agree.
Her personal training sessions are challenging and goal-oriented and Candice is constantly adjusting for best results. I've never done the same workout twice, and I look forward to sessions because I know it's going to be different every time. (Bonus: great music.) She’s extremely attentive to what is or isn’t working for you and keeps organized, in-depth notes on everything from changes in weights/counts/sets, to daily calorie/nutrition intake, to muscle/fat mass records. Being able to look back and see exactly where I was and what I was doing at any point throughout the process and compare it to where I am now is as motivating as it is satisfying.
With all that said, though—the standout component that makes training with Candice so incomparable to others is the time, effort, and resources she wants to invest in you.
You can see it in every tailored workout she puts together for you, every fitness/nutrition goal breakdown she writes up for you, and every time she goes above and beyond to provide extra insight on any wellness question, concern, or interest you might have—even when they’re not directly diet or exercise-related. I absently mentioned in a workout once how my sleeping schedule was terrible and probably stress-related, and that same day I received an email from her with lists of sleep/meditation apps, links to articles on sleeping patterns and the benefits of bedtime routines, and plenty of suggestions from personal experience to try out. She's done the same with recipes, protein sources, reverse dieting, skin care, and workouts outside of our sessions (I asked about half-marathon training once and she was happy to look into it for me, even when we both knew I hated running and probably wasn’t going to do it). And all *in addition* to the resources she already gives as part of her program.
I came for the weight loss, but I stayed because Candice puts in the effort. She pays attention. She genuinely cares about your overall health and success, and she genuinely wants you to feel good about yourself. I couldn't recommend her more.
