I make workouts fun! We all don't always have the motivation to workout so I am that little push you need to get going. Who doesn't like to do something when it is fun? She may look cute and cuddly but she will kick your ass! I started training with Jennifer Peterson in June 2013 after working with another trainer for a couple of months. Jenn is FABULOUS! I hate exercise but she took me through a variety of things until we found not only what I liked, but things I was good at. I never thought I would lift weights but I love it! I have learned so much about exercise and nutrition from Jenn as well as being really inspired to do a good job. She pushes me more than I would ever push myself and that is good. Concentrating on form to get the best out of the workout and making sure I understand why I am doing what I am doing has been perfect for me. I ask tons of questions and she never seems to mind. If she doesnt know the answer she will research it and get back to me. Jenn works out regularly with a trainer herself and it is great to benefit from her training. She will add things to my work out that she has learned that she knows we will work for me. Jenn is a very active trainer. She has even worked out with me on days when I was really flagging. That is awesome support! I also like that we laugh a lot. It is very important to me to have a personal relationship with my trainer and Jenn is great for that. We have fun yet she makes sure I am getting in a great workout. Jenn takes that extra step. A few months ago she said that she saw that I was getting stronger and was getting in better shape, yet I didnt seem to be losing the fat like she thought I should be. We talked about a variety of reasons why this could be. I went to my doctor and figured out it was probably a malfunctioning metabolism. In the intervening weeks we have worked on my diet and adjusted my exercise routine accordingly. She could have just let it go, but Jenn is really invested in my success and my overall health and that is why I am willing to spend the money to keep working out with her. Overall I cant say enough about how awesome Jenn Peterson is as a Personal Trainer! This is the best success I have ever had with an exercise program and its because its more than just exercise. Jenn makes it an investment in your health and that makes it mine. I am OWNING it!!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have flat rate programs. There are packages for 30 minute sessions or 60 minute sessions. I keep the rates at an affordable price.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to do a consultation first. Just a relaxed sit down meeting so we get to know each other and I get to know what I can do to help you.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
To keep our certifications we have to take so many continuing education credits. We can take classes or obtain other certifications.
