We hired Chef Carol Scott because of a recommendation from a close friend. We were entertaining some old friends from out of town and really wanted something special, plus naturally, we didn't want to spend our time cooking. Carol arrived with all the bells and whistles, bringing all the food items she needed. We gave her the quick 10 cent tour of the kitchen and off she went. We were entertaining and she brings us by some finger foods and cocktails. That was unexpected for sure. Basically, she cooked the best meal we have ever had in our home, served it to us like a 5 star restaurant, and cleaned everything before leaving. We felt like we were staying at the white house. It was definitely a splurge for us, but worth every penny. Can't wait to find a good excuse to hire her again.

I've been a client of Herb-N Kitchen Fairy for over a year now and am completely satisfied with the service. If for no other reason, having a professional do the grocery shopping has saved me money because they know how to shop economically. Also (and more importantly!) I've lost 20 lbs in a year thanks to eating meals prepared by someone who understands nutrition. More money, less weight, and delicious meals!?! What more could you ask for?

I am flexible and can prepare meals based on dietary restrictions and preferences. I have a degree in Dietetics. I love doing what I do!!

We specialize in American, soul food and authentic Caribbean cuisine. What makes us great is our knowledge. We are the only one serving authentic Caribbean cuisine in our city.

Strange Little Breakfasts is a unique resource for people who no longer want (or are no longer able) to shop for themselves, especially people who are trying to improve their health. I specialize in shopping for healthy and affordable food and would love to cook that food for you, if that is also your need. You and I will sit down together, you'll let me know your family's allergies, preferences and budget as we plan your meals, then I'll head out to get the freshest and most affordable food I can find. If you don't want to cook, I'll cook for you, package and store your meals and leave you with detailed preparation instructions. I'll even plan a special dessert for each meal; trust me, it is possible to be healthy and still indulge your sweet tooth.

We do homemade, country style foods, desserts and more. All our food is made fresh daily, e.g., meats, vegetables, etc. It is just good, old home cooking.

I organize, cook, and cater for events such as family meals, weddings, birthdays, showers, business meetings, anniversaries, staff appreciations, etc. You can name it and we will cater it. I prepare home cooked meals, appetizers and desserts to your liking.

I am an experienced cook/bartender/server. I have a current ABC card. Personal and professional references aer available.

I have worked in several upscale restaurant and resort properties in three states. I'm a culinary school graduate and an ACF certified.

I'm a native of Sevier County. I have been working in restaurants since I was 17 and have learned much in this time. I love to cook and entertain for friends and am branching out to offer my services to others.

I offer personal chef services for your private event. Meals are prepared in your home or at your venue. Foods are ranging from down-home Southern Appalachian to world flavors such as Thai, Italian, Caribbean, and Latin.

I specialize in cooking for diet restricted and make it taste good. I will teach cooking basics, and I will cook anything. How do you cook for folks who can't eat dairy, potato, gluten, corn, soy, or GMO? I show you how.

I cook refined comfort foods with a gourmet twist, Southern in nature but worldly influenced. One taste and you're hooked.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
