Heavylifters showed up on time and focused on getting the work done. They were courteous and ensured the furniture was protected during the move. It was also very easy to schedule even on fairly short notice. I would definitely use them again!
Elbert did an amazing job. He came same day and knew exactly what he was doing. It was a large ikea unit and he knew exactly what to do. It's rare to find a hard working honest person who is actually really good at their job! We will hire him time and time again!
Jose and his team did an excellent job. I would recommend him to anyone that’s looking for a yard cleaning service. Especially if the materials need to be hauled away.
I’ve moved three times in the last 2.5 years so I’m familiar with movers. James is the most professional and nicest man! He does a great job, takes care of your furniture and makes the process as stress free as possible. His prices are extremely reasonable! I Recommend using James for your move!
I have a unique experience because what I’ve hired them for she had to customize specifically for me so that we could get a starting off point for her to do her regular services, but so far so good. I even have them scheduled again. I would recommend them highly to anybody.
Very excellent service. Was willing to work on Sunday and Labor Day to restore power after a storm damaged our electric meter. Very conscientious, friendly and reasonable about pricing. Would trust his judgement about needed repairs and hire him again.
I needed my old basement windows repaired and also some basic carpentry inside my home, A.D. was very courteous and prompt with his services. A.D. seemed to genuinely care about the work he does and taking care of his clients, I would totally recommend him to others and also would hire again.
We hired Terry Cox and Precision to do a job of painting of the master bedroom and bathroom, as well as putting crown moulding in the bedroom. We found the company to be extremely well led and executed by Mr. Cox, and the men completing the work were among the most knowledgeable, talented and professional workers that we have ever dealt with in previous work situations. I felt completely comfortable with their explanation and the timely completion. The entire job was finished in the time quoted and in a manner that completely satisfied. In fact, we have already hired Precision for several more jobs over the next few weeks! Would strongly recommend this company and the workers. Definitely enjoyed working with this company with no reservations.
Several years ago I became ill and have not been able to do the work necessary to maintain my yard. I tried many different people but no one ever would do a complete job. The lawn would be mowed but the gardens were always left a mess. Last week, I hired Josh Walton with Walton's Tree & Crane. He and his family promptly came out and gave me a very reasonable quote. The next day, they started the job advising and getting my opinion at every step of the process. Everything was finished yesterday - cleaned up and hauled away. It is wonderful to look out my windows and see a beautiful yard with manicured gardens! Unfortunately, the weather lately has been wet so walking in the yard will have to wait a few days. I highly recommend hiring Josh Walton if you have a job that needs to be done promptly and right.
Let me be clear, they in no way compensated me for this review that is about to be submitted. I placed an ad through Thumbtack for the creation of a door that was not necessarily done before. Due to space constraints, I wanted a pocket door, but didn't want to cut the wall, so I settled on a barn door, but wanted it split as to save space on either side. When I called Steve Miller, he said emphatically, "yeah, I think we can do that". He and Dave (one of his workers came) and after hearing my idea, you could tell the ideas were percolating. He came up with a great idea for the split barn door and gave me options of whether to go cheap or if I wanted it to be perfect what it would be (I chose the latter). To be honest, the price was well under what I thought it would be by many hundreds of dollars. I also asked about replacing the front door, of which he said was no problem. Steve guided me to the find the best wood people in town to make sure I got a quality product and made sure I got the best prices. All was set and done until I removed an embedded counter that showed broken tile and sheetrock underneath. No matter. . .Steve was able to fit that in as well. His tile guy, Nick, was phenomenal and was a true artist and professional in his work. They set the tile, fixed the grout, fixed the drywall and replaced the baseboards. It looks completely brand new. While doing this, they were able to install the new door, create the new split barn door (with Julie, who is an artist and visionary in her own right) leading the design of it. Even though I was a bad client (adding more jobs on top one right after the other), it was done better than when I bought the house. Steve is a great boss to his people. He treats them well, and more importantly, he respects and values their opinions and help. They revere him and it shows in the quality of work and efficiency of which the tasks were completed. More importantly, when you see their minds work (including Steve as the architect), it is like watching real artists work, not just laborers. They take great pride in their art and I am extremely happy with the products. When it was all completed, the price was not commensurate with the quality of work involved. He could have charged me a few hundred dollars more and it would have still been a value. Steve Miller and his crew are top professionals and I guarantee that anytime I need a project done, they are number one on the list. You will not go wrong hiring them and I can promise it will be an enjoyable experience for all.
I spoke with Nathan on Sunday. He told me he would be by Monday between 8-9 AM. He didn’t show up til 11:30. After looking at what needed to be repaired he wanted to be paid for the materials before doing the labor and that it would be fixed that day. After spending quite a while trying to pay him (honestly all day) for the materials he told me it would be first thing Tuesday at 7 AM. Later Monday night he told me he would be there between 3:30 and 4:30 that evening. After several attempts to get in touch with him via phone, Thumbtack message and email I have not heard from him since Monday. I am in the process of disputing my payment with PayPal as we speak. We are incredibly frustrated and feel we were taken advantage of. I will not hire him again.
