I just completed my first session, and so far so good. Lisa Marie was totally prepared, so there was no wasted time. We got started immediately. She gave me some initial coaching on breathing, my singing voice, enunciation, etc., but before the session was half over I was singing a song that she asked me to select prior to the session from an established artist so she could pull from the internet and I could sing along. I chose Interstate Love Song by Stone Temple Pilots. She used this singing exercise to expound on her coaching in the first half of the session. Very productive! I feel like I have made progress already, and I can't wait for the second session. And a bonus for me is that I am more motivated to work on my art before the next session. That's a significant side benefit of taking lessons. Like I said, "so far so good."

Michael Coplon is a truly great yoga teacher! He carefully attends to each student as he manages his classes, ensuring their proper form, while at the same time, he educates and explains the reasons for all that is done in class in such a way that newcomers or regular students can always be enriched by his instruction, his comments, and all of his lessons. My friends and I always look forward to what we will learn Michael in his next class!

My daughter enjoys her piano lessons with Ms. Wilson. She uses creative games to make learning fun and cares about the development of each of her students. My daughter enjoys the games and skill building assigned practice time on the iPad as well as the traditional keyboard time. The variety keeps practice interesting and provides great options to practice on the go. My daughter looks forward to her lessons and the encouragement she receives as she grows as a student.

Barbara Posner is an extremely talented and capable singer and voice teacher. She brings considerable experience, energy, and enthusiasm to her lessons. I would not be the singer I am today without all of her expertise and encouragement. She helps me improve my vocal quality, range, and musicality, while at the same time she makes my lessons fun and fulfilling. I give Mrs. Posner my highest recommendation.

About

I can take a choir with average voices and lead them to become an outstanding group. The First United Methodist Church of Mt Pleasant had an average of 8 - 12 singers. When I left they were averaging 20 and above and were singing music at the top of their ability and loving it. I know how to challenge singing voices.

About

I provide standard music theory education in the development of piano and music reading skills. In addition, I work with the student's personal level of "ear ability" to develop knowledge of chords, harmony, rhythm and improvisation in order to become an excellent, well-rounded musician.

About

After six years in the Phantom of the Opera, I returned to Memphis to train young singers in voice and stage deportment, as well as dramatic interpretation.

I am multi-genre and I am a working musician. I will not train you for the opera if you are wanting to sing on the "Grand Ol Opry". All music is valid. So I start with what you love and see how we can get you to the point where you feel confident singing that.
