- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
2022 Weekly Lesson Rates: 30 Minute Lesson: $35 per lesson if I travel to you within a 15-mile radius. 60 Minute Lesson: $55 per lesson if I travel to you within a 15-mile radius.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When I begin working with a new student, I ask that they arrive 10-15 minutes early for their first lesson so we can get to know each other a bit before we get to work! :) During this time I will learn the student's expectations and hopes for their musical career. I also have a studio contract for the parents of the student (if under 18) to sign that outlines everything we have discussed. Then, I will evaluate which method books and supplies the student will need to work with me. I typically work from Essential Elements 2000 Violin Book 1 with beginners, as well as supplemental repertoire and theory books as necessary. Each student's needs are vastly different and I take pride in being able to cater my teaching to best serve them!

I have a Bachelors of Music degree in Instrumental Music Education from James Madison University.
