One of the best instructors in the country as well as a beautiful and talented performer. Totally recommend her for any level of student.

We've been studying with Alyssa for 5 years. There's a good reason we're still with her after all this time - she's the best. She took our dancing from (lousy) bronze to competitive championship. Encouraging & patient, but always demands better. She turned us from the Fred & Wilma Fintstone into Fred & Ginger on the floor. A true professional.

Alyssa has been my ballroom dance instructor for over four years now. That alone should say quite a bit. There is, however, quite a bit I can add. I could gush about her technical expertise. I could praise the way she's like a chameleon on the lesson floor, tailoring not just the content of her lessons to each student but her delivery as well. But what I think Alyssa's most exemplary trait as an instructor is her passion. She genuinely cares about both dance and her students. I simply can't imagine her ever just going through the motions of her job. That passions tells.

If I am traveling to you, my expenses need to be paid.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will set up an initial appointment with the customer. If there are any questions, we can chat then. The first lesson is a great opportunity for me to get to know the customer and what they are looking to achieve. The lesson will be customized to suit the needs of the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take coaching lessons from former champions and am constantly practicing new techniques and ideas of my own. For my students, I am an active participant in the pro/am competitive circuit (think Dancing With the Stars) and am constantly observing new trends in competitive dancing.
