Joe was great. He took his time and performed a very thorough inspection. I feel like his background in construction gives him experience that other home inspectors may not have. Joe also took the time to show me around and explain what he found. He was patient and made sure I understood what he was talking about before moving onto the next item. I highly recommend Joe.
Great experience working with Fina and Crew. Honest, trustworthy which says a lot since I deal with contractors everyday for work.
Kahlo Construction did an excellent job on our roof. They answered our multiple questions, addressed all our concerns, and super professional. They provided excellent references. I will definitely contract them again for other projects. I would highly recommend them.
I'm very pleased with my experience with Rene at Prezision Construction. I had a door installed that needed some finish out work and Rene had it scheduled and done within a day. I will be using Rene again for other carpentry projects, no question.
This job was supposed to be to replace a couple rotted deck boards, but once Dillon got here we started talking about a project that I've been considering forever. A patio cover for my Modern house. It was done quick and for just a bit under his estimate. It's gorgeous and the experience was so great. He was responsive to texts, showed when he said he'd be here, totally understood what i was picturing in my head and built it. Love it. Having them back for other projects again. If you have a project, call Dillon -these are your folks!!
In my 35+ years in the real estate business I have hired and worked with many home inspectors, but I've never met one as outstanding as Rance McDonald! You really get your money's worth with Rance. He is probably one of the most affordable inspectors I have come across in years, not to mention that he really knows his work and always willing to help buyers with answering questions, even months after an inspection. His superb knowledge of and experience in the construction trades has helped him in becoming one of the most thorough, practical and detailed sought after inspectors in Central Texas. He's great at addressing buyers fears and concerns about a property from a practical standpoint and tries to make them feel comfortable and knows how to explain and address solutions for every problem. I highly recommend Rance McDonald for your next home inspection.
We are very pleased with the look of our bathroom. Felipe was easy to work with and did his best to make sure we got the design we wanted. We received quotes from several contractor between $8,500 to $43,000. Felipe quote was not the lowest but in the range we thought was reasonable for our size bathroom. Our project had several set backs which were no ones fault: The tub filler we selected had a design flaw, which required some redesign. The sink drains didn't work the way we hoped and had to order replacements. The tub showed up with a crack and we had to order a replacement. Felipe worked with us through each issue and did his best to guide us to a solution. One of the great things about working with Filipe was the fact he knows some very good subcontractors. The company he recommended to do the show glass, did a great job at half the cost other companies quoted for the same work. Plus we got a lifetime warranty on the glass and workmanship. With every project there's always the 90/10 rule. 90% of the work is straight forward and fairly easy to complete. The rest of the work is more tedious and requires time. There were a couple of areas I thought the work could have been better: The pony wall tile was not cut straight and left ragged grout edges (picture). The retexturing could have been better if not rushed (picture). The caulking around the tub, particularly behind the tub was very poorly done. For the price, I really don't have anything to complain about. This was our first project hiring a contractor to do a project. We learned some important lessons. 1) Create a check list of work items. This will help make sure there are no disagreements on what is and isn't part of the contract. 2) Inspect the work regularly. It's only your fault if the works not done correctly. 3) Don't pay until the work is done to your satisfaction. 4) Get everything in writing including the warranty. I can't say enough how happy we are with the new bathroom. I have other property in Austin and I will use Felipe for future projects.
Bill was fantastic. He was super communicative, easy to schedule, a very accomplished contractor and so fast in his work. We plan to use him for all of our home repair/building needs from here on out!
I would give Galactic Construction six stars if I could. I took a number of bids for an interior paint job. Marco was the most helpful out of all of the people who came by. He listened to our needs, understood our budget limits and what we *didn't* need, and offered a very fair price. After Marco and his team efficiently completed the job, my wife and I were very glad to see that Galactic Construction completed what we asked to a high standard. But what really impressed us was that Marco decided to paint parts of the walls and trim that we didn't think we could afford. He didn't charge us extra. He did it because he thought it would look better, and he wanted to do a great job. So we have here a company with integrity, professionalism, affordability, and promptness. You couldn't ask for more.
Ryan is awesome to work with! We hope to continue business with Metolius Construction.

Kelly Cobb is a great handyman / painter / remodel person. I hired him for a small job and kept him on to basically remodel the house and another investment property. Some jobs he did were: removal of popcorn ceiling, re texturing walls and paint after electrical work cut holes in drywall, bathroom tile - floor and tub, installing bathroom vanity, landscaping, kitchen remodel, exterior & interior paint on outside house etc. I would definitely recommend Kelly as he is a hard worker and can complete just about anything. I attached some pictures of just the kitchen remodel. I described some crazy things I wanted done such as the live edge bar and his idea for the stainless steel back splash, which he had the contacts for the custom slab (he sanded it, sealed and treated slab) and steel work. He also has other contacts if needed. Trustworthy, nice, fair prices and conscientious! If I ever need additional work or do a flip I am excited I know a contractor. When the job got really big I did use his recommended helpers. He also got along with the neighbors and some subsequently hired him after my job. Thanks Kelly!
I've had multiple projects going on at my house, which I've hired different people for. This really gave me the opportunity to compare experiences between different companies. I have to say that Chris at HomeIsHowYouBuildIt is friendly, reliable, very thorough and efficient, from the beginning to the end of projects. He is incredibly knowledgeable, he works quickly, and the quality of his work is nothing short of perfect. I am in love with how my projects turned out.
Waterloo exteriors retiled a shower at a rental property for me. The were quick, professional, and sent me pictures of all steps of the work so I could see that construction was done right. I would happily hire them again.
I have used Jaime for numerous construction projects both small & large. He is organized & budget minded. He also completes the job in a timely manner & cleans up his mess after the job is done. Lori White
I am extremely pleased with EB Construction. From the start, Jason & John were communicative and knowledgeable so we decided to give them a try. The crew worked efficiently and they helped us solve the difficult slope issues we experienced along the way. Thank you EB!
James is a skilled, hardworking, trustworthy carpenter. He took down walls, framed a new wall, framed and raised a floor, and raised an exterior door. He is priced competitively as well. We have several more projects to do and will hire him again in the future.
Derek Has done FANTASTIC work for me. Hes done painting, flooring projects, and some carpentry work for me. I had no idea what i was doing in some of these projects and he was able to guide and help me make the right selection for my needs. He’s very punctual, and his quality of work is AMAZING! I would definitely reccomend D&R Construction to anyone working on home improvement projects.
First class job. Finished on time and within bid price. Very professional company. Would easily use again.
Howard had built our home and a major addition to it. Both turned out great. I wouldn't use anyone else for our construction.
Steven did a good job of keeping me informed of the situation.
