Adam's passion is sharing music, through and through. You can see it in his performances and in his depth and style as a musician. He engages at all levels, even throughout his hyper-focused stage performances (go see a Mamahawk show - they are AWESOME!). Most importantly - in regards to lessons - Adam works tirelessly to bring the best out of his students. Whether the student is a 5 year old picking up guitar for the first time, a seasoned musician looking to get that edge or push their game to a new level (instrumentally, vocally, stage presence/performance...), or folks at 50 yrs young who stopped playing long ago or just never got around to playing until later in life... He has the knowledge and tools and the vision to help music lovers of all walks of life find their sound through music - and in the process, to help them gain some perspective, patience and confidence within themselves. And while he's a stellar musician and has deep knowledge of the technical aspects of music theory, his impact as a teacher goes far beyond the music. Ultimately, it's up to you to take the action and sign up for a lesson. Adam has some seriously high-level experience in music and performance, and the passion and genuine love for music education that is crucial to a strong and productive teacher-student experience. Adam teaches me piano and vocals. Recently I have started guitar and he has taught me a lot. He's very nice and is great at explaining. And he never gives up on something that he's trying to teach.

Adam has brought my son from 'slow to warm' to fully engaged with his piano playing. By allowing my son to choose songs he wanted to play, then helping him understand it, he has encouraged him to practice without battles. His relaxed, calm and good humored approached has alleviated the stress of performance pressure. I am truly appreciative of Adam's expertise and caring.
