Introduction: I am a fun and creative piano and voice teacher for all ages and skill levels! I believe in making music lessons enjoyable! I am not a stuffy, strict piano teacher that slaps your hand with a ruler if you hit a wrong note! I do have curriculum and structure, but I encourage my students to express themselves through music. For piano I teach a strong theory base with reading but also integrate ear training and improvisation. For vocals I teach vocal techniques that can transfer to any genre of music the student is interested in. I hold two recitals per year and work on performance skills with each student prior to the performances. I love seeing progress! I love seeing a 3 year old that can barely place their hands on the keys morph into a beautiful pianist! I am proud that I helped create such beauty!
