I had my diagnostic session with Gene yesterday, and I'm so thrilled to be working with him! He found my trouble spots with the first 10 minutes, and had me do some exercises to correct them so my brain/body could start to grasp the concept. I've taken voice lessons before, but this is the first time I actually felt like it was targeted at my specific needs. He's funny, insightful, and easy to work with! I'm excited to think about where my voice can go!
I am so glad that I got the opportunity to take lessons with Austin's Permiere Voice Lessons! I would definitely encourage people to take advantage!
Big Chirp was very helpful and speedy in finding a qualified person to teach voice lessons to our grand daughter. However, the child's mom is not ready to have lessons for her daughter--so we just have to wait until she is ready.
Voice lessons for musical theatre. Instructor, Robert, teaches with passion for arts. He is amazing.
I've taken 6 voice lessons with Kylah and couldn't be happier. As someone who was very self concious about my singing abilities she has created a very comfortable learning envrionment. The progress we have made in 6 lessons has been awesome.
Tara is a fantastic vocal coach! She is very knowledgeable of her craft and has practical, real-world experience as a singer and performer. She is also warm and encouraging. As an untrained singer, who is now the lead singer of a band, I was intimidated to take vocal lessons, retroactively. Tara made me feel comfortable and welcome. More importantly, she instilled a sense of confidence in me that changed my singing for the better! I highly recommend working with her. It's fun and effective!
Although Kristen specializes in teaching kids, she also is a great teacher for adult piano learners. We meet weekly for about 30 minutes. 30 minutes seems short, but it is actually quite adequate for a beginning piano player. I am impressed and glad I found Kristen. I look forward to continuing learning with her.
I have been taking guitar lessons from Nick recently, and he is great! Very patient and explains things in a way I can understand. Doesn't jump down your throat the way some instructors do. Know he also teaches voice and keyboard lessons, and believe they'd be a good bet too. I would definitely recommend him!!
Nate is great! I look forward to my weekly voice lessons. He really seems to enjoy what he does, he's very helpful and understanding. He's funny and makes a lot of creative analogies comparing music and real life scenarios.
I LOVED taking lessons from Jay. He has an incredible way about him that makes you feel so comfortable and confident in your ability as a singer. He helped me conquer all vocal insecurities and now I am SUCH a confident singer. I owe most of my vocal accomplishments to this man right here. He is wonderful! An amazing instructor!!
My daughter Frankie was lucky enough to take voice lessons from Mikaela for about 2 years before she left us Austin! ;) Mikaela is full of energy, has a beautiful voice and worked to get my girl's big voice out of her shy shell. Her lessons are fun, focus mostly on what your child wants to sing but also will push them out of their comfort zone to help them grow. Mikaela also has knowledge of healthy voice techniques and works to train students in this which is so important. I can't recommend her highly enough!!
I can’t speak highly enough of Chris. He has far exceeded my expectations as a vocal coach. Before I met Chris I was skeptical that I could even become a better singer. I wasn’t sure if lessons would even make a difference. After a couple months of taking lessons with Chris, I can honestly say that I have noticed significant improvement in my singing. He has helped me to have better control over my voice through fun and engaging exercises. Since I was a beginner, it was hard for me to understand the point of some of the vocal exercise and how it translated to me becoming the type of singer I wanted to be. Chris was able to cater my lessons to help me better understand them by working on a song of my choice and choosing exercise to help me sing the song in the style that I liked. Lessons done in this way have been incredibly fun since I know the meaning and purpose behind the exercises that I do. Also, Chris is great at listening to your voice and finding ways to explain why you are making the sound that you are and what you need to do to create the sound that you want. I look forward to going to my lessons ever week because with every lessons I know I’m one step closer to becoming the singer that I want to be. I couldn’t be happier with Chris and synergistic singing.
I came to Lacy on a referral from a friend with hopes of learning to play a baby grand piano I inherited. With absolutely no background in music, this was a daunting challenge for me. Lacy created a lesson plan that taught me the basics of the instrument, while also allowing me to have fun learning to play songs that I love. She's fun to work with and has an incredibly vast knowledge of music. I highly recommend her, not only for her undeniable skill, but also for her style of teaching and positive energy.
He has very patients. teaches how you like to learn
Rebecca Sanders gives music and voice lessons. I have 1 daughter taking voice lessons and the other daughter taking piano lessons. She is an awesome music teacher. She is so knowledgeable and compassionate. She has patience and my two children have progressed so much with lessons in the time that she has been teaching them. I am very impressed with her and she definitely goes above and beyond for her students.
I teach children about the wonderful language of music in a fun and engaging peer setting. We learn music theory, how to read music/songs, and play musical games together to ensure the kids always want to continue learning.
My teaching techniques really zero in on bringing out each student's individual and unique sound in as healthy a way as possible. I teach how to apply classical techniques to any style or genre of music to give you a supportive base to go from, or in other words give you all the rules and how to apply them so you know exactly how to bend them in order to achieve your style. I am strong in communicating these techniques to any age group. I regularly teach students ages 5-35. I do well to get the goal aspect of a lesson while keeping it fun and personalized. I also have a background in fitness and hold several certifications, so I understand the concepts of movement and alignment (such as Alexander technique) best to support your singing.
I teach private lessons, mostly piano/voice and some acoustic guitar. I play piano and sing, mostly 60s to 70s and some 80s to current, classical, standards/Broadway, rock/pop and light jazz. I have a big song list with lots of variety.
I not only have extensive experience working as a performer, I back my love and passion of performing with adequate musical knowledge. As a former student at UNT, one of the most prestigious music programs in the Country, I have acquired the musicality that it takes to be equipped as a teacher to others. Although it is easy for any individual to profess their love for music and want to share that with others, it is not so easy to be effective in teaching music if you are not fully equipped to do so. I am easily approachable, and believe that it's not about what level you are at musically when you come to me as a student, but what level you can and WILL reach if you have the commitment and passion to do so! I feel that everyone has the capacity to learn how to sing and enjoy creating music.
I teach voice lessons to all ages of children and adults. I have a degree in music from the University of North Texas, and I teach all styles of music.
I provide vocal lesson for everyone. Let us get together and make beautiful music. I like all kinds of music and was also in choir in high school. I placed 14th in state as well. I have fun times.
