"When I met Isreal back in October 2013 I was only focus on boot camp but I then realized that he was the one to be my trainer. What made him stand out was he was very passionate of his clients and helping them reach their goal. I hit a plato and needed that extra push to lose that unwanted fat in areas that I was not confident of myself. I have to say hands down Isreal has been an amazing trainer I’ve ever had! Not one minute has he ever given up on me when I felt like I couldn’t reach my goal. I would definitely recommend Isreal to anyone."

"Darren has been my personal trainer for about 10 months now and I am so grateful that my wife discovered his profile on Thumbtack. I wholeheartedly endorse him for anyone considering embarking on a new fitness goal or even for seasoned athletes looking for a jolt if their existing routine has gotten stale. Darren not only excels in the physical aspect of training, but he also brings a balanced mental component to our sessions. As anyone can attest who's recently started to workout after a long layoff, the hardest part is starting. What they also don't tell you is that maintaining your workouts is probably the next hardest hurdle to tackle. But that's where Darren really shines. Under Darren's tutelage, I've become accountable to myself and I really look forward to my sessions to see what new exercises we'll incorporate or to try and beat my weightlifting bests. I would classify Darren's workout management as 'adaptive'; that is, he can take what he's given in terms of available equipment, or if the gym is too crowded on a given day, and craft a workout routine that is challenging and never boring (he takes what's he's given and makes lemonade from lemons). I think that boredom is responsible for more broken fitness promises than any other factor. With Darren as my trainer, I've never been bored and almost a year later I don't think we've ever repeated a workout! With Darren as my trainer I've been steadily increasing my strength gains while steadily shedding excess weight and improving my cardio fitness. Darren also provides nutritional counseling, rehabilitative training, and he will travel to your home or business for your workout needs. He really is my 'health and fitness concierge,' and anyone considering personal training services shouldn't pass up the opportunity to train with Darren. Robert N."

"I have been working with Alex for just a little while, two weeks, but I had good reasons to choose him as my personal trainer (I met two trainers before deciding on Alex). First, he is very serious about his job and dedicated. Second, working full time as a trainer gives him the chance to perfect his style and fully dedicate to his training sessions and clients. Third, I like the fact that he is quiet and focused on training. I find his style pretty unique, a combination of strength, stretching, gymnastics, and yoga. Also, I had many questions and not only he answered every one with patience but with knowledge as well. If there is something that I really do not like is when I get an answer that lacks knowledge. I am looking forward to a good long training relationship.keep up the good job Alex!"

"Mac was my instructor for a semester-long boot camp class through our university. I was initially hesitant about the class because I had never participated in one before, and I have some joint issues that I knew I would have to work around. Mac went above and beyond what I could have imagined from an instructor. He made everyone in the class feel welcomed, no matter what their fitness or experience level was. And he was more than happy to work with me, and other students, to help us adjust our work out to get the same results without aggravating injuries. I never thought that I would say I enjoyed a boot camp class as much as I did!"

"Greg is my personal trainer at Houston Gym. At the request of my naturopathic and primary care physicians, I was instructed to begin a resistance training program to address a few health issues. I was skeptical of personal training, was unsure of my capacity to "stick-to-it" and achieve my aims. The owner of the gym suggested I work out with Greg. 2 months later, I am in better shape than in my 30s (I'm 54). Greg is conscientious, knowledgeable, skilled and is exemplary at tailoring my workout to fit my aims. He knows how to vary a work out (upper and lower) to address not only groups of muscles but refine the workout so as to address specific muscles that need toning. His attention to detail helped me calibrate and equalize what seemed to be an strength imbalance between my left and right sides (very odd). He is also quite patient, truly listens and varies the workout routine to keep it building my body without the boredom that can be possible in working out. Not only is Greg a great trainer, but he also is quite knowledgeable about the body's musculoskeletal system and the nature of injuries to the system. I recently had a shoulder injury (doing upward dog in yoga); and had to see an orthopedic specialist. Greg was very sensitive to the doctors instructions and modified my upper body workouts in such a manner that I can continue to build my upper body at the same time give my shoulder injury time to heal. Without question, the reason I'm still with Greg as my personal trainer is that he makes it a challenge, yet always within my range. Highly recommend Greg"

"First the backstory. I'm 62, never worked out except on the golf course; left knee now failing; 280+ pounds, and now at the point of having trouble getting in/out of the car, up and down off the commode. You get the picture. It was now or never. My first lesson: simple balance and step-ups (one foot), and a little squat. I told Greg, "that's not happening." He said, "trust me, a little bit at a time". Low and behold, I was able to do it. It was a miracle. Little by little, week by week, I improved. (Yup, that's me in the picture lifting 140 pounds, 10x for 3 sets.) Moved to weights. Increased the weight. My knee? It felt better when I left the gym than when I went in! In 6 short weeks I was moving much better, in 12 weeks I felt younger - really, no kidding. I could not have done this without Greg's expertise and support. Seriously. He explained everything in great detail. The techniques. Breathing. How to concentrate. Greg is not some monster-type lifter (okay, he does a pretty damn impressive squat), his style and approach are systematic yet tailored to your own rhythms and capabilities. I checked all the boxes because he truly does all of these things. Greg asked me to write a review, and it's the least I could do given that he as restored my mobility, and convinced me that even at 62 I can become stronger, and, yes, build that six pack. At 62. I have a more to do of course (can't fix in 3 months what took 30 years to do). Look, do it. It takes 60-90 minutes, and do it 3x per week. 4 1/2 hours. And you get your mobility and balance back and restore your strength. In my mind - and I think for people like me - Greg is the best. For those of you who are in your "prime", definitely do it. Oh, one last thing...If you are a lifter, you won't find a better, technically qualified, coach than Greg, I've watched him. And, IMO, you won't find a nicer person either."

"I signed up in one of his small group training sessions and lost 19 pounds my first month. I was surprised I could afford him but he's willing to work with everyone's budget. If your looking to lose weight and increase your flexibility he's the guy to go to :)"
