I overheard Byron playing with a group on campus at Texas A&M and was extremely impressed. After a short discussion I learned that he offered lessons. I'd always wanted to learn classical guitar so we began lessons. Byron customized lessons for me that focused less on musical theory and more on tablature (with which I was more familiar). He is patient, flexible and most of all inspiring. I hope you choose Byron to be your dedicated instructor. Have fun!

Great party music duo who are pros with guests. I kept them an extra hour and they are now my Texas strummers for any party I have here at the ranch. Thank you JW and Cheryl! (Sorry if I spelled that wrong...). Ask JW to play his Army Ranger song and try to keep a dry eye.

My son started lessons with Starla in the 6th grade. He enjoys each lesson and comes away with more knowledge and excitement about music. Starla has been a great supporter of Nathan as her student and also as a person. He is playing beautifully and we are so proud and happy with his progress. We consider Starla a friend as well as a piano instructor.

I was very happy with Travis as an instructor. Even though we only had two lessons, I had a good feeling about Travis and was looking forward to learning to play guitar from him. Unfortunately, teaching guitar is a side job for him and unfortunately, his main career pursuits detracted from his teaching. Upon realizing he would not be able to fulfill his obligations with our weekly lessons, he generously refunded my deposit.

About

My name is Xin Ti Schulz. I am a 27-year old female. I am a professional piano player and teach piano lessons. I have performed in concerts all over the world. I've been playing ever since I was a little girl. After I finished high school in Beijing Conservatory of Music in Asia, I decided to continue my education in America. In 2004, I was accepted to improve my piano career from several private music schools in Los Angeles with a full scholarship. In 2009, I got accepted from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX for an artist diploma. I have a performing master's degree. During the years of studying, I won all kinds of prizes in different international piano competition in the United States. I won 2nd place in World Piano Competition in Cincinnati in 2006, etc. I have years of piano teaching background. My piano student in LA often won piano competitions. I am now married and living with my husband. We have a 2-year old son. I don't have a job just yet because raising my son really is getting my hand full. But, I love music and I really miss teaching piano. So here I am looking for people who wants to learn how to play the piano. It does not matter how old you are, or if you want to become a real player or just play for fun, as long as you want to learn. I will do my best to make sure you reach the goal. The bottom line is to really enjoy the happiness that music brought us.

About

I teach piano, and I especially enjoy teaching adults. I specialize in teaching people how to play, what they want to play. That is, I do not insist that every person become a classical pianist. I teach people how to play for their own enjoyment, church, etc. My goal is to teach people how to let the music locked inside them get out. This does not mean that I skip the basics. I am a firm believer in teaching theory and technique. I usually have a recital in the spring to give my students the opportunity to perform in public, though participation is optional. I also teach beginner voice lessons. I deal with proper breathing, enunciation, and pitch. Recently, I began making soundtracks as well. Currently, I have a Christmas piano album available on Amazon.com. It is called Timeless Carols.
