Arrived on time. The installation went quickly. Did a good job except he didn't put in the lights. Left it open for me to do later. Maybe that's the standard in the garage door industry, but if I'm doing a job, I'm going to complete it.
Repaired door, frame, and replaced lock. Great work! It was done so well you can't tell that it has been repaired and not replaced. Craig was very nice.
Dan did a great job. I needed a broken door jam replaced, and when he was done, I could not even tell that there had been prior damage. He was fast and his price was reasonable. Would definitely recommend!
Helped fix door after settling and installed ceiling fan.
We hired Michael and his team to secure pictures on the wall that went crooked every time we closed the closet door. They no longer move! They also hung a couple extra items for us we had just had framed. Very pleased with results.
Jason was great. He helped me with all my moving needs - heavy lifting, picture hanging, TV mounting and wall repair.
I asked for a drywall repair quote. He came with a couple of guys, and was ready to start work immediately. They did the job quietly and efficiently in just a couple of hours. The texturing match to existing work was excellent. Appropriate materials were used... concrete drywall board since the repair was in a bathroom. I would definitely call him again if I need drywall/ texturing.
I hired Ezequiel to do some brick and mortar repair (tuck pointing). I had several cracks breaks that need replacement as well as mortar joints that needed repair. Ezequiel did a great job at a fair and honest price. I would use him again.
I had a leak at the base of my toilet. He responded very quickly. He came by the next day and took a look to confirm it. He was available the next day to repair it. Cost was reasonable & work was done in a timely manner! He also provided me with the receipt for the parts that were needed!
Jerry did a great job installing my microwave. He had to modify the template for the frame to hold the microwave and he used his expertise to do so. He is very talented and would recoommend him for any repair or install jobs in your house
Gerardo and his guys are excellent and efficient. Not only did they repair 3 doors that had shifted due to foundation issues, they also replaced the vanity in the laundry room, replaced ceramic tile, and a damaged plank in the wood floor. I was amazed by how quickly they performed all the additional tasks I added to the job. Lastly, by repairing the doors they reduced my cost by over $700 (if I would have bought new replacement doors). I highly recommend Gerardo and his team!
I am incredibly grateful to Dallas Interiors and Remodeling for all of their help. We recently needed a front door replacement done quickly and within a budget. Not only did Josh get it done on time but he went above and beyond to ensure I was within in my budget while also getting the frills I certainly didn't expect. Would use them again in the future for any projects as well as recommend to all my friends.
We hired Eric to put in a new garbage disposal. He was prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable. He really went above and beyond the call of duty, replacing several other components that were badly in need of repair. Overall, we were really impressed with the job he did and would certainly hire him again.
I was very pleased with the excellent repair of the shower. Mr. Bouis was always on time and completed the job in a timely manner.
Very prompt and professional. Was able to repair my door issues in about half an hour. Very reasonably priced. Would use again, and will recommend.
For a last minute repair, Cesar responded immediately, arrived promptly, and completed the repair timely. He did a great job and his pricing was very competitive. A key factor was providing pictures of the work that needed to be done so he could provide an informed bid. No surprises, overages, or extra expenses. He has my business.
Walter is an experienced carpenter. We had a leak in our sink and some resulting water damage underneath. He showed up, assessed the situation quickly and determined the best course of action. His repairs exceeded our expectations. He was very thorough and professional. We're very satisfied with his work and will be contacting his company again should the need arise.
Dion was punctual and did a good job with painting our garage door
I sought out a handyman for some odds & ends jobs around my home, like the faulty toilet handle needing repair, ceiling fan cleaning & detailed cleaning throughout my home, etc... Eddie was on time and did a great job. I would recommend him to others and will use his services in the future when needed.
Great value. He took time to repair my sheetrock right. He put plastic on the carpet, did a couple "extra value" things beyond the agreed-on scope, and was polite. You can trust this guy.
This was our first experience with hiring someone through Thumbtack and we were a bit apprehensive. And, admittedly, things didn’t get off to a smooth start. Luis came to the house to get the scope of the job and bid it. We walked him through everything we wanted and the original online bid doubled. That is why we understand that online bids are all but useless. Until a contractor sees the job, they should not bid it! We were told that it was a two day job, but when the worker arrived (Luis didn’t show up) he tried to cram it all in to one day. That made us more nervous, but as he got rolling, he realized that it would take two days as Luis had said. Then, after the worker was done for the first day, we walked the job. There was paint spill on the hardwood floors and one of the patch jobs looked like someone stuck bubble gum on the wall and painted over it. There was also a divot in one of the walls caused by a drawer shutting on it and pulling out the paint when it was opened. Later, Luis admitted that he had done that when he checked the work. I would have thought he’d have fixed it. We let Luis know of these things that needed fixing and he agreed that on day two, they’d be handled. When the workers came back on day two, they were a little late. But they showed up on a Sunday as promised so they get extra credit for that. Day 2 required repairs to door hinges that another contractor had “fixed” and the “fixed” again. But the guys from Tyler’s did it right. They pulled the door frame apart, reinforced the wood, and reassembled the whole thing. By the end of the work the door swings like it was new and you’d never know that it had been repaired. It looked great. After the guys left I found myself cleaning up a little paint and some door handles and a counter top. It sounds like there were problems, but the reality is that, as someone who hires contractors for a living, there’s no perfect contractor. There’s always a “punch list” of things that need to be fixed or finished. I’m handy enough to do some of the final cleanup on my own and it’s easier to do it than to schedule the contractor to come back. I give these guys Four Stars because the work has all been done very well. The workers didn’t hesitate to do what needed to be done. They aren’t lazy like others I have seen and there was no argument about touching things up. I don’t get hung up on the original online bid being lower than the final bid, because I didn’t supply photos or dimensions when I submitted my request for bids. We will be calling these guys again.
