I am a new dog owner so I really did not know what to expect. Adrianna was so sweet and professional. You need to give Kit + Kaboodle a shot, you won't need another dog groomer once you meet Adrianna :)

I took my puppies to Canine Kingdom and paid $40 for each! The groomer (Joy) did such an amazing job and let them roam around a small area instead of putting them in a kennel while they waited for me to pick them up. She was very sweet and gentle with my puppies and I felt very comfortable leaving them with her. I will definitely trust her to groom my puppies in the future!!

They made a huge difference in my relationship with my cat! Love them!

We offer luxury in a home like atmosphere. We want pets to feel as if they are home away from home, having fun with their new friends. We keep them busy so they don't have time to miss you... sorry We encourage you to bring their toys, beds and old T-shirt of yours etc. to make their stay more comfortable. We have special rooms and daycare for unaltered (non fixed) pets. We do not charge to give medication, to brush or to play with your pets. It's what we love to do..

Our goal is to give your dog or cat the best grooming experience possible while making it more convenient and less stressful for you. Groom Service offers a one-on-one grooming experience for your pet. No distractions from other animals or people, no cage time, and a shorter time away from you all contribute to a more relaxed, positive experience for your pet. This also allows the groomer to gain your pet's trust and create a personal bond, enhancing their time spent together. What this means to you is that, it frees up your busy schedule. Forget about the to and from trips to the grooming shop. There will be no time to spend in Austin's every growing, congested traffic. We come to your door (home or office). All work is done in a clean, well-maintained, self-contained grooming van by an experienced professional groomer with over 30 years of experience. We want you to feel confident about the care and attention we give your pet, so you can go about your daily routine without worrying about your best friend.

I offer in-home personal grooming for all breeds of dogs and cats. I have been in business since 2001. We started in South Florida and then moved here in San Antonio, Texas and have been doing business ever since. I have personally over 18 years of grooming experience. I have perfected this type of grooming to be less stressful to your pets as we have no cages and no harnesses and no cage dryers, and we will not use tranquilizers unless prescribed by your vet. We have flea and tick control and specialize in dematting. If you want an experience that will truly pamper your pet, as well as yourself as now you don't have to make trips back and forth to the groomer, then I think you will enjoy what we do at HCWT.

I have 20+ years working as a vet tech and therefore know a lot about animals , including how to handle them, recognizing problems, and being able to deal with them. Since I have been a vet technician, working mostly in surgery and with critically ill pets, I can give subcutaneous fluids, get blood from an animal for purposes of giving insulin to those non-regulated animals, give pills (sometimes not easy with a cat) and injections. Lots of veterinarians recommend me for patients with special needs. Plus , the main thing is that I am reliable and trustworthy which is why my clients stick with me once they use me. I keep in touch with them and am not a bit afraid to call an owner to ask questions or report a problem.

We offer professional dog grooming with love and care. We also provide pet sitting with fresh food and water, playtime, outdoor time and special loving attention for your pet. We will also administer medications and any other special care your pet may need.

Ruff Cuts Mobile Pet Grooming offers the highest-quality care and grooming for your pet, all in the comfort and convenience of your own driveway. We bring our complete "Pet Salon on Wheels," with full-sized tub, grooming table, HydroSurge bathing system and more. It is heated and air-conditioned for your pet's comfort. Your only job is to answer your door! There is no more dropping off and picking up at pet grooming salons where your pet has been in a cage all day long. We are cage free and never use kennel dryers, and because they never leave their home, there is less stress on your little loved one. We only use the products that we use on our own pets, so that means we use all-natural, high-quality shampoos and conditioners. We handle both cats and all breeds of dogs under 35 lbs. Trust Ruff Cuts Mobile Pet Grooming of Texas to keep your pets trim and tidy!

Lazy Daisy lets your pup have a spa day in their own home! We groom dogs under 35 lbs in Austin and the surrounding cities. We are a "nontraditional" service in that we do everything in the comfort and safety of your own home, i.e., we don't have a mobile van/trailer. We also offer pet sitting for dogs and cats in Pflugerville.

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

Do cats have to get groomed?

It’s not crazy to have your cat groomed. Grooming will keep your cat’s fur soft and silky as well as give you early warning about any health concerns. Regular grooming can also help reduce the volume of hair your cat may be shedding and keep your longhair kitty cool if you live in a warm climate. Professionals competently groom your cat and are trained to manage them if they resist being groomed, while you may get scratched doing the same task. The national average price for cat grooming is $50-$70. Pet grooming prices may vary based on the task. For example, a bath and brush for shorthair cats may be $15, $20 for medium-hair cats, and $25 for a longhair. Cat groomers can also keep your cat’s ears cleaned, trim their nails, and provide haircuts if needed. Average prices for haircuts can vary from $30 to $95 or more, depending on whether the cat is shy or aggressive and whether their coat is in good condition, matted, or otherwise difficult to groom.

Where can you get your cat groomed?

Cat grooming keeps your cat’s fur tangle-free and clean. Most businesses that offer dog grooming or general pet grooming also offer cat grooming; some businesses even specialize solely in cat grooming. Look for a professional who has training grooming cats or belongs to a professional association such as the National Cat Groomers Institute, because cat grooming techniques can be different than for dogs. Cat grooming can encompass a wide range of services. In addition to haircutting, hair detangling and hairstyling, cat groomers can trim cat nails, clean out your cat’s ears, give flea baths, demat, trim facial fur, bathe and even blow-dry your cat. Health safety and etiquette requires your cat to be in good health and have all their vaccinations before using grooming services.

How much should cat grooming cost?

Keeping your cat groomed is an important part of maintaining their good health. The national average cost for cat grooming ranges between $50 and $70, with prices varying based on where you live and the services you request. Your cat’s temperament can also affect grooming prices. Scratching and hissing during a groomer visit can raise rates an average of $5-$10, or more, as hazard pay. Larger cats and long-haired cats that take longer to groom will also usually cost more. Here are some examples of cat grooming average costs:

    • Shave down or lion cut: $35-$60. These cuts preserve the hair around the face and tip of the tail but shave down the entire body. The lion cut is often recommended for extremely matted hair is exceedingly matted, for extreme heat, or for cats who are suffering from hairballs.
    • Ear cleaning and nail trim: $30.
    • Nail trim: $10-$15.
    • Bath and nail trim: $45.
    • Bath and sanitary trim: $55. A sanitary trim clips the hair on a cat’s behind to prevent fecal matting in longhair cats or cats that have mobility issues.
    • Bath, blow-dry, brush out, nail trim and ear cleaning: $40.
    • Full haircut, bath, and nail trim: $45-$95, depending on matting.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
